Where to start, I am 26 yrs old and in the past year or so I have worked very hard to get my life in order. I have been clean and sober going on a yr and a half now and have ran into some problems. Work has come to almost a complete stop due to the cold weather and I cannot come up with the money to pay my rent. I would not be worried if it was only me but I have a partner that is almost 5 months pregnant, we can’t get help through the County due to her missing a workforce development, due to a doctors app. But did call and leave notice. Are familys are not willing to help either, and my stupidity. I can not collect unemployment due to working a cash Job. I don’t want to be left on the street or in a drug infested housing unit Social Services would put us in. If anyone out there is willing to help, PLEASE let me know and God Bless all who take the time to help others.
