  I’m not from the NYC area, but I’ve had experience with school interviews.
  
  The best thing to do is dress up a little and try to act as maturely as possible. Avoid using slang, saying “like,” and swearing. Make good eye contact with the interviewer and have a strong handshake. Above all act as honestly and confidently as you can.

  Don’t feel that you’ve “used up” all the compassion your friends can give. If they’re good friends, they’ll understand how stressful and upsetting this month has been. If you still feel like you’re taking advantage, simply thank them for what they’ve done. It lets them know that while you really need them, you understand that they’re giving of themselves for you and you appreciate it.

  A combination of meds and therapy is usually best, but sometimes you can manage with only one or the other. It’s really a personal thing. As is medication–for example, youwantlexie suggests lamictal. I was on it and gave me a dangerous rash. That doesn’t mean there’s anything wrong with it; it just wasn’t the right one for me. If you and your therapist decide to go the medicine route, be prepared to try a couple in order to see what works best for you.
