  ok, ok…he’s probably hurt….so give him time for the feelings to die down, then try talking again. It will either reach a point where he has control over his emotions and you guys can get back to being friends only…or his “feelings” for you will flood back, consume him again, and will always get in the way. Depends on the type of person he is.
  
  In the meantime. Don’t just “forget” about him. Always remember him, and keep the good times in mind, but let life roll on as it is. If you’ve already tried contacting him and he didn’t respond, then the ball is in his court, wait for him to return it. You do not need to do anything further. Just make your intentions very clear that you want to be friends and enjoy his “frienly company” and racy gossip;) haha. If you “need” another friend, you can go looking, but who’s to say you can’t have more than one good friend?

  Well, I’ve never succeeded in really making anyone feel better or changing anything…but I’ll throw my 2 cents in, just incase someday it works for someone someday…ooo, and I can relate to about everything you’ve been feeling, so maybe I can actually help build some kind of perspective. I’ve been clinically diagnosed with social phobia, co-dependency, and some other junk…most of which I’ve been able to conquer in some way or another. So I’ll give it a go, cuz I hope it helps.

  There’s nothing wrong with that at all..sure it can cause problems in relationships…but it’s being you… I know lots of people that hate themselves, because of something that they don’t understand, but come on..there’s tons of people out there functioning just fine and doing the same thing. I over-analyze things too, but

  Do you want to join my club? Haha. I know it’s not funny…but I feel the same way…and so do millions of others. I just think you haven’t found the right person or persons. You need to keep looking for people that you can connect with. Like I said before… “I thought your type didn’t exist.” Eventually, someone will come along that will make you feel better.
  
  And there is nothing wrong with being overly attached to someone if they enjoy it. I know it’s being co-dependent, and all…but I was co-dependent for about 8 years…I just found another person who was like me and ya know what, it was never a problem. In fact, in that time the problem went away on it’s own as I grew up. Lots of this probably has to do with being young and still figuring out where you fit in the world. Not to be a kill joy, but most of us never figure that out. Maybe we just don’t fit…but perhaps it isn’t a puzzle to begin with…we’re just here and we make do with what we have, who we are, and what we’ve been given.

  You can totally deal with the terminator by encasing him in molten lava….I think that they sell this at wal-mart now. Just get a bucket and dump away. Hell, if he comes back around, I’ll help.

  Sooooo is the new person working out? I always like to see if people are generally happier with the way things worked out in the end. Many of us never look back, while some seem to have a “need” to.
  
  They always say everything happens for a reason, and if it’s meant to be it will be…there is no changing that. There is no “it was supposed to be” it’s either it IS or it ISN’T. No in-between. That’s my take anyway….
