• (1 vote) ok so my parents are divorced and im 15.
  

  my parents are divorced and my dad remarried a woman half his age. they dont have children, but i hated her. we wound up having a melt down & i didnt speak with my step mom for three years. I am however finally out of my house & living on my own.
  
  my advice is this: remember that children of divorce are almost always put in situations they shouldnt be. our parents tend to forget the devistating effects divorce can have on a child. they expect us to move on and be comfortable with the lives they have now chosen.
  
  i had problems for a long time, like if my parents didnt work together in a relationship, how the heck am i going to be happy? im half of both of them!
  
  you will be out soon, and when you are you will do a lot of maturing and growing up. dont forget your own wisdom through all of this. you are much wiser than your parents give you credit for!

• I need someone to talk to!
  

  some nights, can be bad nights.
  
  then you wake up in the morning and the sun is coming in your room and you say, d*mn i cant believe i thought that way last night.
  
  look outside tomorrow and think of all the wonderful things you would miss. take the enegery you are using thinking about death (etc) and start noticing life.
  
  ex. tonight i got home from work and wandering outside my back porch was a mommy goose a daddy goose and 4 baby geese. they couldnt find their way around this fence. i just sat outside and watched them, and eventually followed them. the little cheeps were so sweet.
  
  you start thinking about death and dying, you’ll let the beautiful parts of life pass you by :o)

• Picking and choosing.
  

  my sister went to art school and majored in photography. she graduated last year & has had a little trouble finding work. i will tell you this, she doesnt regret her major. you’ll be suprised how when you follow your heart, you’ll be exactly where you need to be.
  
  we need more photographers. people who capture the moment that we all refuse to live in! or forget to live in.
