• Can anyone share their personal experiences with anti-depressants?
  

  i am on celexa, and it helped me a lot. about the same time i started taking it, i started up a new and amazing relationship, so i wasn’t sure how much the meds were actually helping. after a year and a half, she dumped me and it killed me, but i wasn’t depressed… i was really sad but not depressed.
  so now, i am pretty sure that it did cure a lot of what i was feeling. basically, what celexa did was stop the despair and hopelessness that comes with depression, and made it easier to actually deal with my day-to-day problems.
  i am going to start going off of it in the spring, as instructed by my psychiatrist, and hopefully i will stay “cured”

  go, and talk to him. have a serious talk and tell him what you think, and that you want some space. and tell him how you feel! if you guys have been going out for that long then honesty is key. tell him you understand that he is in pain and that he has had a really rough childhood, and that you are there for him, but that you don’t want him to take that out on you. don’t forget to make sure you let him know how much you love him.

  if you really love him, you need to try and get to the root of the problems. if he is worth all this pain, then stick it out and push for the good times. but if he is really making your life ******, then maybe it is time to tell him, at least, that you need a break from this. and maybe to rethink if he really is “the one”.

  the same thing just happened to me
  that empty feeling that you have, that doesn’t go away, try to fill that gap with other people. and the more you try to talk to her or think about her, the more it hurts. it’s so hard but you just have to try and pick yourself up everytime you fall and keep on pushing yourself.
