It was great to watch him and his crew in action in the White House. Very upbeat and energetic and healthy-looking. Such a refreshing change from the last bunch!
I’m good, I’m loving my new dwelling, and just found out today that a good friend who lives down the block is going to keep living there for at least another year - that’s nice. Still working on unpacking & organizing & weeding out stuff.
Hi there! I’m doing ok thanks. It’s good to hear from you and I’m glad you’re getting on ok. Haven’t been on in quite a while and have had a few computer issues but hopefully solved now. Loving the fact that Obama came to UK not long back too!
Hello Mums, long time no see. Are you doing okay? I haven’t been here much at all, having discovered Facebook where I’ve been getting in touch with people I know (or knew) in person. It’s kind of fun - light, no drama, sharing pictures & videos, etc. Also I’ve been to Sansceriph’s site mainly on the Chat thing. All when I should be unpacking, mopping, etc. :)
I came here when I was pretty desperate with a few issues. I got a lot of support and good advice from some of the helpers here. Sadly, some of those helpers have now moved on. But thankfully some are still here.
I was helped :) But sometimes it’s good to move on to pastures new, so I hope things work out well for you on that score. I’ll shout you if something happens!
I’m just popping in to wish you a wonderful Christmas and a Happy New Year. I won’t be around for some time as I’m going into hospital for a while. Be good, have fun, and if you can’t be good be careful! All my love, mums x
Maybe we in America after having lived the nightmare for 8 years just can’t quite believe it. I think he’ll be tested by our own “terrorists.” Will we be able to straighten much out with our wimpy Democrats? But I am thrilled about the young people. It all seems like a miracle or a [good] dream.
I’m very happy Florie. I have just listened to Obama’s speech. I have enormous respect for any man who can recognise the good in his opponents and want to work with them rather than against them. A day of hope for the world I think.
