I watched on MSNBC. So far, I haven’t found one filmed from that vantage point, which included some GREAT shots of the sulking, high school boy Republicans. But on the one I did find, you can hear when Joe Wilson shouts out “You lie!” and Nancy Pelosi & Barack look over and then people boo the shouter, and the Barack says “It’s true” (meaning what he said was true). Obama gave a beautiful speech, and restored my faith in him. He handled the heckler so well too, remaining dignified and open to dialogue. An amazing man, who is trying so hard to do good things for our country.

I have been all right. I am working on getting my house together, getting rid of more things, etc. Fall Cleaning. :)

I am getting all the scammer stuff settled, it’s a lot of time and hassle, though.

I did not listen to Obama, actually. Don’t have TV and it seems like too much noise to turn on the radio sometimes, with the 3 kids running around….I thought that I would see the speech online soon.

No no no, the bassinette had yellow rubber tubes, and clamps. I remember looking at them, and being in the water. I loved my bassinette.

Remembering being in the bassinette? I’m amazed!! My brother tells me he remembers many things from when he was a toddler. I don’t remember things that happened yesterday!! :)

Yeah…we just got the bill for the ER visit…{sigh}.

I have a 7 year old and a 6 year old. They both had croup as babies. It was scary; the nights were long….but they were never as sick with it as my 3 year old gets. And I did use home remedies for them. My 3 year old was sick enough with it last year to go to the ER, too. I guess there are varying degrees of it.

I’m surprised you remember…it usually happens to kids under the age of 6.

I was just reading your first post about croup. I didn’t know it was a virus! I used to get it when I was a kid, really bad. That barky cough, and not able to breathe. I think that’s when my mother used to put Vicks Vap-o-Rub on my little chestie, and cover it with a t-shirt. A doctor told her to take me to the ocean (Santa Cruz, it was). I never got croup after that. I swam in the cold Pacific and absorbed lots of salt. There’s probably homeopathy for croup too.

Yeah, mine too. He’s a great kid. I hope my kids grow up to be as level headed…..

It’s ok…I replied on the post, too. I just saw some Anon who was giving Ikari a hard time; so I thought that I would show support for Ikari so Anon didn’t think s/he could bully him so easily. :)

What are you talking about when you asked “what do you think you are doing, Jelly?” Just curious. I re-read the replies, and I don’t think that I wrote anything that was wrong; or could be misconceived. I hope not, anyway….just wondering what you are talking about.
