Why, exactly, do so many people who are so attractive, intelligent, funny, charismatic, capable, and/or perfectly reasonable human beings, feel so worthless?

Well, um… I’d be glad to mail you any of the distros you wanted, but Sri Lanka’s a fairly long way away. Not sure what shipping would be on that.
I can look into it, and maybe we could work something out over PayPal, but I’m going through a rough time right now, money wise, so… Well, we’ll see.
If you can find out how much it would be to ship from Georgia in the USA to your location in Sri Lanka, we can go from there.

Belief’s got it. I’m interested in hearing a viewpoint of someone who believes that it isn’t really a big issue, though. Anyone out there like that, who can explain it?

*Tips his hat, nodding.* Will do in the future; for this post, I rather think that my point applies, more or less. Security in one’s wages is of dire importance to the low-income sector… At high levels of income, some think that it’s of less importance. I would disagree with that idea, and rather propose that - to bring this fully to the subject at hand - it’s the balance between income and spending that is of importance.
Habits in spending are very hard to break. A change in income, even a small one, can be disastrous if those spending habits do not adapt to fit the available funds.
In the case of teacher vs. higher-paying industry job… The decision made needs to recognize several things:
1: The desires of the person in question. As has been asked, what would he want, and why? What does it mean to him, and what’s it worth to him?
2: The spending habits of all who’re supported by this. Can you adapt those habits appropriately, if need be?
3: The expectations and other desires of those supported by the income. Why is it you have the job in the first place? What, exactly, do you want and need that money for?
These questions aren’t so much meant for answer here as just for consideration. But feel free to answer! Discussion’s great!

Granted, and your eyeballs sprout dandelions.
I wish for the human race to be wiped out.
