• I don’t know what I want for my life!
  

  Close your eyes and picture your perfect day, it’s morning time and what do you see? where do you live? where do you go to work? what do you do in your spare time that day? what sort or people surround you?
  
  When you picture this, write it all down, every detail, then work out what you need to do now… to live in that place, to meet people like that, to get that job, to have that spare time, etc etc.
  
  Then you can set out to achieve that picture, a little bit everyday, be open to every possibility. This perfect picture will most likely change through life, let it change, and change your goals accordingly.

• Nothing ever turns out right.
  

  It’s not just difficult to sort out everything at once, it’s impossible. You need to start by thinking about what is most important to you at the moment… Finances? Family? College? You and your family can get advice on finances from your local Citizen’s Advice Bureau, you can also sit down as a family and have an honest discussion about your spending habits and financial planning, to prevent this happening again.
  
  But the most worrying of your comments for me were that you appear to be taking on the financial worries and maybe other problems of others, when admittedly you can’t take care of your own emotional health. You need to take a step back from your family for a second, and look at what is within your power to do, yes help your family where you can, but you are not superhuman. Make a list of the things that are stressing you out at the moment, then beside them, write the options for what you can do about them. Most importantly remember that you are no help to your family, yourself or anyone else, if you do not take care of yourself first and foremost.
  
  The way I have always looked at it, is a person is like a tree, if it has strong roots, no wind or storm can shake it, the wind being EVERYTHING that is happening around you, Family, Friends, Work, College, Finances, etc, etc.
  
  You won’t find the solution to your problems through this post, you need to talk to a professional to sort through all the emotions you’re feeling right now, make an appointment with your GP, and ask for a referral to a counsellor, or if you contact your college’s information desk, they can give you the number of a couselling service in your area.

  When anybody treats you like this it’s hard enough, but when it is someone you love it is so much harder. This guy maybe the love of your life, but love is just a word if he doesn’t respect you. If he respects you, he wouldn’t care what people said and in fact would tell them to stop.
  
  Stop for a second and think about what you’re fighting for, someone who treats you badly, lies to you, avoids you, complains about you, doesn’t even speak to you about things when he gets the chance. It’s ok to have fights and to argue with your boyfriend, that’s all part of getting to know each other, but if he won’t speak to you and tell you what’s really wrong, where can your relationship go?
  
  Tell him how you feel and tel him how you want to be treated in the relationship, and ask him what is really behind this recent attitude, then ask him what he wants from the relationship. If you can meet somewhere in the middle then great, but don’t let him tell you who you can and can’t speak to. Trust, Honesty & Repect, if he wants these things from you, he needs earn them, by showing the same to you.
