  where abouts are you? could you get a job, part time if you are in school or somthing? your dad might respect you showing maturity & independence & begin to cut you some slack

  When i was at school there was soooo much emphasis put on going to uni & that being the only route you should go… in reality there is a much bigger world out there where degrees etc… mean very little so please do think not getting on this course is the end of all things… i got turned down from my first uni of choice, and when i went to one in london in the end i only stayed 4 months cos i decided it wasnt for me and i wanted to be out in the real world paying my way… from doing a degree in mortgage & genetics 6 years down the line i have ended up as a mortgage adviser & its great, and many of my friends ended up doing similar things.
  
  please for one second do not think about hurting yourself. One of my best friends killed herself on the 27th Dec 2007 and the hell her friends and family are still going through 8 weeks later is indescribable… and this is something we have to carry with us the rest of our lives, seeing that me, her sister & her mum found her. i promise you as much as you think people around you dont care & if you mght think you are a failure or something if you dont get in that really really is not the case.. the world around you will continue to change & therefore your life will change too onto bigger & better things, be it the uni route or something else xxx
