Lots of parents have trouble letting go of their sons anyway… but they will come to terms with it. You’re adults now… and such is life! :)

Seen you closed your post. No one knows the formula to make everything alright. If i did, i would have shared it with you. And i doubt if someone knows the secret to being perfect all the time with things, people and circumstances.

Ive moved every year since I was in third grade.. cause of my parents.. and then once they settled.. I had to keep moving..

I learned from my Mom honestly.. she moved because I think she felt the same way as you =/ she ran away from family, when I saw that they loved her.. but she saw that they were “picking her apart”, “tearing her down” ..

somehow.. I ended up feeling that way for a long time.. I still do.. a lot =/ I have friends for once.. but I still really struggle with it.. I get scared of what they say when Im not around.. I was never able to have friends because I would literally scare myself with my thoughts of what they thought of me.. i honestly hated myself..

my parents loved me.. my brother loved me.. i had a great family.. I had friends that tried to be my friend.. but I shoved them away because i always assumed they thought the worse of me..

I posted something early titled.. “if you change your thinking, you can change your life”.. you can read it if you want =) its what helped me.. but its not the only thing..

Im married now but in the beginning of our relationship.. I noticed I was tearing him apart by being so insecure.. it hurt my parents also =/ they saw that they loved me SO much … and it hurt them to see that I didnt love myself..

I believe I learned how because of my husband.. he helped me realize you cant love someone else.. and be happy if you dont love yourself first.. he told me over and over that i cant love him.. if i dont love me.. and thats what stuck..
