me don’ts unterstanding. what is it about “we’ll come find you” that was ambiguous?
this post wasn’t a help-wanted ad on monster.com.
Correct, this was not an ad for mods — but for some reason people interpreted it as such and started putting nominations forth for people.
What I was trying to say (by we’ll find you) is that people don’t nominate mods — mods do — we have to know and trust the people…so just getting a recoemdnation (or even a significant number of votes) isn’t enough.
2008-03-25 12:18:30 on does anyone know how to x-out of help.com?
Mac OS is not built on Linux in any way shape or form.
You can use Cron to schedule shutdown though — but those are both very old commands.

What?
2008-03-22 09:57:55 on how do you put things centered if you are working on html?
Apply something like like this to the element you want to center (if you need to wrap in div/span)
margin: 0px auto;

Well. Ubuntu will probably auto mount the installed partition, so something like this:
cp /etc/X11/xorg.conf /media/XXX
replace XXX with the disk/partition number.
Research it a bit — google around. Try installing it the normal way instead of through WUBI
