• (1 vote) I have a family of four.
  

  wow lets think about this,
  a)possibly your mom works at least 8 hour per day.
  B)possibly your father works approximetly 8 hours per day.
  c)possibly you live in a house with a roof, it has heat, you have clothing, television, a computor, internet access, probably a bike, and other fun stuff, you also have transportation your parents pay for and pay for the fuel, you probably eat food your wonderful parents pay for among other benefits paid by your parents.
  d)now it takes aprox 30 minutes to prepare a meal for 4.
  e)it takes like 15 minutes to wash the dishes.
  f)it takes like 2 minutes to load the wash machine and 2 minutes to load the the dryer and obout 5 minutes to fold a load of clothes.
  g)i assume you are becoming a fine young adult where as you should be cleaning your own bed room and your bro his and lets just assume your house can be cleaned in aprox6 hours.
  h)so to do these things would take you aprox 8 hours if you do a load of cloths per day, now you and your bro work together takes you half the time which is not even one hour per day.
  not a bad deal for you and your bro about 8 hours a week between you and your bro and your perants get to work 80 hours between the 2 of them for the same priviledges as you.
  you should tell them you love them every day and thank them for working so hard to give you a good life.
  there are millions of young adults like yourself that would trade you places any day.
  if i were you i would work at doing your best in any thing you choose to do in your life, keep a smile on your face, be polite and respectful and loving to yourself and others and not only will you make your parents proud but you will deseve to be proud of yourself, believe in good, do good and your life will be good.
  remember this “do what you gotta do, so you can do what you wanna do”

• What does one do to improve their ability to have courage?
  

  no matter what age you are,
  where you live ,
  what gender you are, or
  what color you skin is,
  life is what you choose to make it,
  we all go through times in our life where we need to reboot our life.
  think about this , you are the creator of your life.
  in other words, you have the ability to make choices that effect your life ,
  in fact every choice you make will have an effect on your life.
  for example
  tomorrow you deside this is the beginning of the new me,
  i am going to focus on every action and choice i make.
  so you start you day by heading to school or work, you choose to look for every chance you can to do a good deed, what do you think will happen every time you do something nice for someone.
  you may hold the door open for someone, you may just smile at someone, you may say hello to a passer by, you may tell somebody they look nice,
  these are great choises to get you going,
  start each day by being the best person you can be and you will creat magic in your life and many others and then will you have to worry what people think of you,
  and you may just believe in yourself.
  treat each moment in your life like it may be your last and you will find an amazing person inside the person that you think needs courage , its already there, inside of you.

• i need help with my mom.
  

  to begin with you are an amazing person to be handling this alone.
  
  there are no magic answers to your situation.
  
  all of these replies have something to offer.
  
  as a teen i went thru a similar situation.
  
  lets look at some important possibilities.
  
  -all situations in life good or bad are very temporary including our time here on earth and time with our loved ones. there will come a day when you will not have your loved one to spend time with and you will wish she were her. so try to look at this time together as a gift.
  
  -when she is rude and demanding of you please do not take it personal she is very uncomfortable and pretty helpless and is very unhappy with herself and her life, not you ,deep down, i promise you she loves and thinks of you more than anything or anybody in this world infact you my friend are her world.
  
  how can you improve your life
  
  - you do need some time to yourself, i would call the salvation army, the red cross or hospice they can possibly lead you to volunteers to help caretake to get you a break.
  
  -with the right perspective and attitude you are in a situation you will learn so much from, already you should be very proud of yourself just for being a giving and selfless person. try to find the good in all situations , think positive, act positive , be loving and compassionate, give your mother and life your best and you will get lifes best. by being a positive you , the attitutes around you will begin to change for the better including your mothers. i have seen what the correct attitude does to illnesses.
  you have the heart of a champion and wish you the best.

• I need help, I’m awfully insecure about myself I can’t seem to make clear decisions when I have to.
  

  two very good books, there is so many resources available and with the internet the sky is the limit.
  my all time favorites and very easy to read are, “key to yourself” and “golden keys to alife time of living” by Venice Bloodworth. these are very small life manuals that are short and to the point.
  
  also always keep in mind knowledge is power.
  
  and when you find yourself having not such a great day it is easy to change by slapping a smile on your face and getting out to do some good deeds, not only will you brighten up others days but yours as well.
