I’m trying to think about things I appreciate about Atlanta now…the aquarium beats the Mystic one by a mile. And there’s lots of places to eat out, and generally the food is better than similar restaurants in New England. That’s a start, I guess…

This is true..I guess you don’t really get a sense of appreciation for these things until you’re gone

I live a little south of Atlanta in Georgia. It’s not bad, really, but there’s A LOT to miss about Rhode Island. Federal Hill, Waterfire, Cape Cod is close, Block Island, the beaches…and Dell’s. And Coffee Milk!

…and sailing…I forgot to mention the sailing!

Now I’m jealous! I’ve spent a good bit of time poking around the beaches near Westerly…and some more time poking around Mystic, CT. Sigh…maybe I’ll move back some day! (I think I could still get my job at Met back…)

Hey! Nice to hear about another Rhode Islander here! I’m from the Westerly area..I lived in Narragansett for a while while I was in school at URI. Newport was always fun then!!

This is fishy…I thought I shouted you a long time ago! I used to live in RI (North Scituate, to be precise) and so I’m curious to know where in RI you are…I’d love to be able to drive to Beavertail or Newport any time I wanted again!
