This is automatic.

When you are an adult you tend to become independant of your parents.
You are going to find they will take an
ever increasing interest in you and your new
family.Especially as your parents get older.

Any amount of “ignoring you now” is
partly a self protective feature
on their part.
i.e. They are secretly hoping
you will just get through the unstable
teenage years without,exploding,
getting pregnant,killed,addicted to drugs,
………you get my drift.

Parents are kind of scared of these
times more than maybe you are?
But after its all over and you pass
the teens test then they begin to admire
you.As they should of coarse.

The main reason for this is that
they see you are working out according
to plan and expectations.(approximately)

Well i guess my biggest would be, be a good role model to my younger sister before she and i get too old, and for my family to come together more before i’m an adult and have to deal with all this more.
