  A helicopter was flying around above Seattle when an electrical malfunction disabled all of the aircraft’s electronic navigation and communications equipment. Due to the clouds and haze, the pilot could not determine the helicopter’s position. The pilot saw a tall building, flew toward it, circled, and held up a handwritten sign that said ‘WHERE AM I?’ in large letters. People in the tall building quickly responded to the aircraft, drew a large sign, and held it in a building window. Their sign said ‘YOU ARE IN A HELICOPTER.’ The pilot smiled, waved, looked at his map, determined the course to steer to SEATAC airport, and landed safely. After they were on the ground, the copilot asked the pilot how he had done it.

  Mental illness is just that, an ILLNESS. You wouldn’t tell someone with a terminal disease to harden up because there are “poor sick children living on the street.” You shouldn’t be doing that with people who have an illness that you can’t see.
  
  Just because their problems seem minor to you, doesn’t mean it is to them. People get depressed over all sorts of things and I suggest if you don’t like a post, that you don’t read it.

  Yes, she should see a doctor. But since she asked for a list I gave it to her. However, in no way is telling a user who is asking about stomach pain that a sexual fascination with feces is a likely cause helpful nor is it wanted.   first of all. sorry, my bad. I posted the wrong word. the word I meant to post was: coprophagia. oops. and although, it’s not likely, it is just as possible as anything you listed, since fecal contamination of food is not unheard of.

  Certainly, if that’s the word you meant it is just as possible as any of the conditions I listed and yes, she should see a doctor. Anyway, whether or not you think my reply is helpful is beside the point and if you wish to discuss this any further take it to my shoutbox. I refuse to derail this user’s post any further.
