2008-02-29 08:41:23 on Who is GOD?
Go look in a mirror to see a face of God. God lives in you and YOU exist in God. No; I am not trying to talk circles around the subject. :-) God is the feeling of warmth you get when you help someone, the voice that guides you to do what is best (when you choose to listen). God has given you the free will to choose your path and God will help you achieve everything you truly want… if you listen and follow that guidance. Talk to God like you would talk to a friend; God will never tell you to do anything that would do harm to yourself or another. God is Love. YOU are love, in physical form, created to share and experience all that you have in you. Now; go explore and enjoy this moment! In THIS moment, ALL is perfect. Peace.
2008-02-27 12:57:01 on My girl friend joined a sorority….
This is no big deal; The Sorority isn’t going to force her to do anything against her will. If you ‘lose her’ it’s because you never had her. You can’t live an entire life with someone and not trust them enough to let them off the leash. Reject insecurities and you’ll find your friend(s) seeking to be with you more.
2008-02-27 12:37:25 on What does love really mean?
Great question? Word are, at best a pathetic attempt to convey what one actually feels. Can you not get him out of your head? Is he the last thing on your mind at night and the first on your mind when you wake? Do you want to spend every moment with this person and find daydreams of the future with them in a ‘leading role’? Love is the spice of life; it turns happiness into Joy and sadness into grief. Love makes colors brighter, it warms you from the inside, it put a smile on your face you can’t wipe off it makes smells sweeter and turns living into living a life. Love is why you are here. If you are in love, you know that you are. If you question whether you are in love or not, odds are you are not in love. Love can not be reasoned or rationalized; it just is! Now; do you enjoy this ride or look for a different one?.. Love (or the absence of it) will let you know. Peace… :-)
2008-02-27 12:25:35 on I have had an abortion.
All is forgiven… when you can you forgive yourself. God endowed us all with free will; but when do we begin? At the moment of conception, birth or somewhere in between? The truth is we can not know, but God does. The termination of a pregnancy is not the termination of a Soul. Just like when you or I die it will not be the end of us. Have faith that you are forgiven; allow yourself to accept that forgivness and take steps to insure you never have to subject yourself to anything like this again. Peace and blessings… :-]
2008-02-27 12:10:58 on Life is really boring.
What do you like to do?
2008-02-27 11:47:00 on I am no longer going to let myself be defeated by myself.
The hardest part is over… making the decision! I wish you success in your path. Great affirmative song to listen to, to keep you focused. “Tunnel” by a band called ‘Third Day’. All about hope and the best is still to come. Peace! :-)
2008-02-27 11:39:02 on I’ve been hurt once and now I am very cautious about falling in love with a significant other who I know is very much In love with me.
It is only natural for this to happen. But what are you thinking about the one who hurt you? Are you still wanting them, or are you reliving the hurt? Answers all depend on your feelings and emotions. The fact that you think of the Hurter is not the issue, but rather what thoughts you are thinking. :-)
2008-02-27 11:35:35 on I’ve been hurt once and now I am very cautious about falling in love with a significant other who I know is very much In love with me.
Are YOU already in love?
2008-02-27 11:11:08 on Experienced parents: How do you separate your own psyche
Wow, great question! Got 3 kids, all very different (19,18 and 15) 2 older daughters and a son. The short of it is (in my opinion) you can not seperate your and theirs from one one another completly; you will always be tied, in that way, to your kids. They are dis-similliar reflections of you, flavored by the myrid of other influnces they see, hear… experiance. (Sorry I get long winded) They, no matter how much we as parents would like to think otherwise, have also been gifted with ‘free will’ by the Creator. The key is to allow them the freedom to develop at their own pace and in the direction that brings them the most happiness (not at the expense of others). The choices they make are theirs alone; all we can do is equip them with the benefit of our experiance and try to guide them to make the best decisions for their path. The process of ‘leaving the nest’ starts at birth.
PS. This is all with the benefit of ‘hind-sight’
2008-02-27 10:49:12 on my teacher is SO annoying!
Well,… at least you are learning what annoys you and how not to be annoying to others. Right? Just trying to find the silver lining; peace! :-)
2008-02-27 10:46:48 on are we all going to die in 2012 ?
No, don’t worry. :-)
