  You need to go to a professional and get diagnosed. And who knows, maybe you don’t need them at all! Just get out there, go out with friends and try to have a good time. Having a significant other sometimes can help the situation, but those come and go when you’re just dating. Having friends, or just one person that you know you can talk to can turn a depressing situation around. But if you really think that you’re depressed, get professional help and talk to a counselor or someone like that. :)

  Definitely start talking to her. Be there for her, just be nice to her. It’s hard to get someone out of a relationship they’re already in-but just be there for her. You might find that being her friend is more beneficial to you than killing yourself in attempt to get her as a girlfriend. It’s better to have some kind of relationship with someone you care about than none at all. :)

• in college do you go to school every day for 7 to 9 hours a day or how does it work.
  

  All the colleges I’ve looked at, including the one I go to and the ones my friends go to, never have more than 6ish hours a day. Most of my classes are about an hour 3 times a week. If I only have the class once a week it’s usually around 3 hours, and if it’s twice a week it’s about an hour and a half.

  My mom and I, and my dad and I have sat down on separate occasions to talk about him and what’s going on. They know how I feel about his behavior and the things he does, but I haven’t told them how I feel when I see them getting hurt by him, I’m trying to be somewhat strong for them in that way.
  My brother tells me a lot, but definitely not everything. I think after this last situation where I yelled at him about drinking and driving he won’t be telling me much anymore. I really think that he believes all the stuff he does is “cool” and that I’m going to be impressed, and I’m not at all.
  We’ve got a relationship where he thinks I’m just trying to be a second mom, and I don’t think that’s very good. I do want to protect him and stop him from doing these things, and sometimes I feel that I’m the only one that can because it’s just different coming from a sister than it is from a parent.
  It’s just so frustrating, I just wish he could see the pain he’s causing his family. I know there’s obviously something going on with him too-but he won’t let any of us know what it is! So how are we, am I, supposed to help?!
