  My child version would be shocked and terrified to know about the future,
  
  very naive, cheerful, dreamy, never expected any evil from any one or anything :OP I really saw life full of hope and felt that many who I loved would be there for me and I would be there for them, and life can be hard but I would do my best to fight,
  
  well, i met people who used me, abused me, lied to me, broke my heart, lost so many I loved to life and to death, became helpless to help those who depended on me, hurt too many people without knowing, lost all I worked for, became shattered,
  
  i used to see myself full of morals, confident of good and evil, and now i feel i am not the best of people, and in fact not happy or proud of many of my actions in the past that i cannot undo,
  
  everything becomes a chain reaction, and a tangled mess, at this stage of my life, it a reset button, i find myself starting a new fresh page, a new chapter in my life, on my own, i am turning 180 degrees,
  
  with so much baggage, i do not recognize myself in the mirror anymore,
  
  what am i going to do?,
  
  simply,
  
  live,
  
  realizing my child version was truly better off not to know about what the future had in store,
  
  but in spite of this, instead of imploding, i shall use my experience and skills to try to rebuild what’s left of my life, help others on and off line as much as I can, and keep moving at least one day at time,

  Herein lies the tragedy. Until a man asks you to be his girlfriend,you are not on safe ground. No matter how few the minutes are between his text messages or his phone calls,even if he has tried to hold your hand, carefully pick off the eyelash from under your eye,and wipe the crumb perched on your upper lip, assume that he just wants to be friends. Assume otherwise and you’ll be in for great big heartbreak. Men are almost formulaic especially those who have remained single after 25. When faced with the same given in the same situation, no matter where they come from, they will all do the same thing.
  
  Enter the questions women love to ask:
  
  1. Why hasn’t he called me in the past few days;
  2. If he likes being me with so much, why doesn’t he leave his girlfriend/wife for me?
  
  As much as we would like to fall back into thinking men are idiots and need a little shove off into the right direction, it’s better to keep your hands where they are. Do not text, call or make a bigger fool of yourself. There s just one answer to all the questions: He doesn’t love you enough. Let’s take each situation one at a time. He hasn’t called you in the past few days. Women will immediately assume that there s something wrong. His cellphone is off, he is sick, he got into an accident, he’s upset with me, etc. We say to ourselves, It’s okay for me to text him, at least he’ll think that I care about him and that I’m thoughtful. Plus once lang naman to eh. After this I’ll never initiate texting. More brazen women could come right out at the guy and ask, Why haven’t you called me? Whenever my women friends tell me they did this, I visibly cringe and have to stop myself from hitting them on the head. You see, a man’s initial feelings for a woman are not usually carved in stone. How he feels about you is very much like writing on the sand. You have to be careful so that he won’t change his mind about you. My guy friends who confide in me (voluntarily) have the same facial statement when they tell me about the girl who asked them the question,Why haven’t you called me? They look like they have the heebie-jeebies. They freak out and start complaining about this. They haven’t called you because they don t feel like it. They might feel like it later but at the moment they don’t so they won’t. They are aware that you exist and don’t need you to remind them about it. Do you want that? I don’t think so. They also tell me that men are entitled to change their mind the way women do. They are also flaky and not sure all the time.
  
  Sometimes men are looking for icing on the cake in the form of a woman friend who plugs in all the gaps that his better half cannot fill. She is usually somebody with slightly different qualities than his mate. He enjoys being with her, calls her all the time, consults with her about life-altering decisions but does not really come out and make a decision about who he wants to be with simply because he is in a safe place. He has the best of both worlds and doesn’t need to make a choice. If he hasn’t left his girlfriend for you yet, chances are, he won’t. She is still his priority. When she calls and asks him to pick her up,he hurriedly finishes his meal and tells you he has to go. When you ask him out on days when he has to take her home, he’ll say he can’t. You notice that you are only together when his schedule permits it and when seeing you does not conflict with his time with his girlfriend. You get the crumbs. This kind of arrangement only tells you that he doesn’t love you enough for him to forsake his girlfriend for you. If he takes a chance by leaving her for you, you’re sure that he loves you. Most men would stay with the safe, the tried and tested over risking everything.
  
  Obviously, you don’t want to be second best. Find someone who will make you his only priority. Although they pretend and seem otherwise, men are not idiots when it comes to matters of the heart.They know fully well what they want out of the relationship. They do not need to be rescued by you. They don’t need hints, carefully crafted text messages or highway billboards that promise them a bed of roses with you. If he really likes you, he will do anything to get you to like him back. You just have to sit there and wait for your nails to dry. Trust me. I can get enough signatures from the creeps to validate this.

  I love fighting for Human Rights to be protected and improved every where in the world.
  
  Sometimes, though women’s rights are political, and sometimes absurd, and some even lose focus on what are Women’s Rights? Is it the right to be a woman, or is it the right to prove men we are equal :O)
  
  Men see each other as individuals, while women on the other hand feel like they are part of a sisterhood, if a women screams in Wagga Wagga, you will find women in Tel Aviv or Paris genuinely concerned about her, but does that mean that men do not care, i don’t think so, i met a lot of men who are great feminists :O)
  
  I am a hopeless romantic, I love men :OP so i expect that my husband would worship me as I would worship him :O), I have a great relationship with my brothers and all men I know respect me (even though they can break a heart, but that is another subject),
  
  there is a saying that fathers set an example to their daughters, my memories of my father are mixed , on the one hand he was very nice father but the older I got the more complicated our relationship became, suddenly he disappeared from my life, so it gave me the feeling of being abandoned, so does that mean all men are evil, perhaps some, but there are evil women too.
  
  so as a woman do i feel inequality, yes and no, but i feel men also have rights and that all humans also feel inequality in some form, irespective of their gender, religion, race etc.
  
  In short what I mean is that just because women might meet a terrible man or feel that some government authority in their country has terrible laws against women, does not mean all men are horrible, and that we have to prove ourselves as equal :O), Life is about living in a perfect imperfect world, there will always be a moment that you feel you are holding the short straw,
  
  It is like women nowadays are taxing themselves for their rights, with a “have it all” model, there is nothing wrong with being a housewife, nothing wrong with depending on your husband, but it is very wrong for a man to exploit women, for example now sadly we have some men who expect their wives to foot almost all the bill,
  
  women feel proud to have a home, they so busy organizing life they forget about living life, they forget the fundamentals, men have responsibilities and these are becoming more and more less because women demand less from their men, I feel this is going to be the next challenge, how to demand our rights to remain unequal and yet feel that our rights are in place, men should be more responsible, more committed, and women have the key to the future by teaching to our next generation the balance and to not live in a stress spiral.
  
  In my opinion, the Battle of the Sexes is so passe, women can have children, men cannot, that is the most simple equation to know that men and women are unequal, not in a negative way and need each other, so I guess Women’s day means for me, a day I remember to thank the women who fought hard for the rights I am enjoying today and not to forget that there are other women who also need support to learn about and gain their rights,

  neither is married guy with girlfriend :OP
  
  so in the end of the day, the affair was never a good idea,
  
  but the children are the key here, they must be already hurt because of all these circumstance i know i was when my father did the same thing,
  
  but i have to give you credit, he left us cold, just like that, we ended up on the street because he left us all his huge debts and legal problems, imagine i have somewhere on this earth a person who shares my dna but just abandoned me like a corpse, when i needed him most,
  
  its a trauma, that i will never recover from, and i have no idea how my mother is dealing with it,
  
  he feels he is the victim by the way!
  
  in order to keep my sanity, i convinced myself that he is not mentaly well, since no one can be this evil,
  
  he always kept saying, I,
  but never cared about the feelings of my mother, let alone me, never asked if we were alive, i really feel he preferred that we all died,
  
  once i called him because of an emergency, and he just shouted at me never to call him and disconnected the line, that is the moment i suspect i had a heart attack, i could not move and lost my breath and had a horrible pain in my chest, i felt like i was half paralyzed, for a long time i could not get up, and since then i have not been as i was,
  
  i truly loved him more than my own soul,
  
  whenever i hear about him and how he has a home and a new kid and a wife (affair he ran away with), it really hurts, i feel like i have been replaced, like a product recall,
  
  after all this and as crazy as it sounds, i forgave him, my mother accepts he did something unforgivable, but never says anything bad about him, she never filed for divorce, never likes to talk about him, she feels he not the person who she married,
  
  the reason i am mentioning this is to show you that things can become uglier and more painful, if you do not watch out you will also loose your children,
  
  there is a chance now you can patch things up with your family, you need to stand on your feet first, and be a man with principals :O) and whatever happens, life goes on

  i am so sorry dear to hear you are not getting enough attention :O(
  
  i also do not open up to people, i think anonymity is the only reason i am able to even function in this site,i am not sure if there is a quick fix to any problem,
  
  perhaps the first step to solve any problem is to acknowledge there is a problem and the next is to find a way to talk about things to anyone you trust and feel comfortable with, tell that person that you want to talk, slowly and gradually, in your own time, and perhaps that would help you to overcome this feeling of being bottled up.
  
  in the end of the day, your feelings are natural, we all have to make our own decisions in life and be ready to face the consequences of our actions whether positive or negative.
  
  in my experience, it might sound odd, but almost all that we seek in life is already in our possession, concealed in plain sight, your attitude is your “fairy dust” and you may have more tools that you are not aware of that would give you a great advantage over your difficulties, the secret is not to panic or become anxious and try to find a solution calmly and learn to be patient when you are not able to find an immediate solution,
  
  please remember that your brain also follows a habit of patterns, the key is to not waste your energy on the wrong questions in life, its natural to have issues in life, so do not bother about worthless eternal questions “why me” or other self indulging questions of issues, rather teach yourself to think in a positive state of mind “its expected” “nothing new” “could have been worse” and “will deal with it no matter what”, this way you will not feel overwhelmed,
  
  if you cannot fix it, then you have to deal with it, plan ahead, look forward to good days but be mentally prepared for the worse so you can support yourself and your loved ones,
  
  it sounds a bit harsh but its, in my opinion, a natural part of growing up, people forget we do not only grow up physically, we also actually continue growing emotionally throughout our lives :O)
  
  although we look for love as a solution, there is a responsibility to one’s self, (might sound odd) but I think to love one’s self is also important (not selfishness), we need to care about our emotional wellbeing just as we care about our physical needs :O)
  
  being selfless is a virtue, but in my opinion, the recognition of yourself, to care about yourself, your strengths, your abilities, is a key to overcoming a lot of struggles in your life,
  
  I am just writing this hoping you might find an angle that would be helpful to you dear,

  i have met people who were used by people who they thought loved them,
  
  well i never imagined that some of the people i thought cared about me,
  actually were using me,
  
  i must have be very very silly because i only noticed after a very long time :OP
  
  at first i was in denial, then i was very angry at myself, and now finally i am able to accept my faults, after a long depression, lol,

  since all emotions seem to be based on your experiences and the way your thoughts are being “processed” in your mind :OP and other external influences,
  
  such as falling in love with someone who looks like someone you think you like, or the person is able to give you the image you are looking for :OP
