Here in Chicago there is a church that picks kids up off the street, without their parents, and takes them to their church.
The police know about it, but don’t take it seriously.
If that ever happened to my kid, I would press kidnapping charges.
But back to your question-
Christianity seems to be particularly well suited to people who only want to see things one way. There is only one right way and theirs is it. I guess it makes sense, that’s the premise pretty much, and those who like the sounds of that are going to be well represented among Christians.
