Mini-Profile
I am a Music Education major in training and my stressed instrument is the Piano. I have been playing for as long as I can remember. Most of my technique and music theory knowledge is self taught, and my mentor, Dr. Mark Holmberg is astonished at my progress, though I usually question my abilities greatly. I am from the great city of Lawrence, KS. It is the most liberal city in kansas, and I love it there because of how alive it is. There is a large appreciation for art and music that I just can’t get over. I am 18 (as of 10.10.2006) and I love love love to read. I have read (as far as I can remember): All 6 Harry Potter books, 1984, Chilhoods End, The Hobbit, Gullivers Travels, The Scarlet Letter, The Adventures of Tom Sawyer, Madame Bovary, Candide, Dantes Inferno, The Chronicles of Narnia, The Lord of the Flies, Several of Edgar Allan Poe’s Stories ( I own all of them, and all of his poems) and many many other books that I can not remember right now. I love to learn-in short. I am here mostly to talk with others about their life issues and to pose a few questions myself to learn some things about others and myself. I really get along splendidly with my mother and my sister (whom I live with when I am on breaks). I love english and history ( and any music course of course.) For those that want to know, my stance on religion is, I encourage you to go to church on sunday, go to temple on Friday night, pray 5 times a day, meditate, read the bible/torah/quran, and pledge your allegiance to the goddess. if you need your religion, then do it I ENCOURAGE IT!!. BUT, the moment you push it on me, I will defend myself. And finally, though it is of little importance, I think that democrats are pansys, and republicans are tyrants-so I vote for whoever is the lesser that the time as i have no other choice right now.
