The Selkie is a tricky little beastie. It starts as a seal, but on nights of the full moon, they transform into beautiful women who, and this is the tricky part, can either be caught out of their seal skin (for something like 3 days) and made to serve a man, or can trick men into coming back to the shores and becoming their selkie-like slaves. Good times.
