Meeting women and knowing what to say is like running on the track. The more you do it, the easier it gets and the faster you get.
You’ve spotted this one. Don’t get nervous. She still takes her pants down to take a dump. She’s a human person, not a goddess or a gilded statue or anything like that. Just a person.
Spot something decorative she’s wearing and approach, summoning up all your captain kirk confidence… (women have their accessories in order to be noticed.)
“Hey, I’m [your name].” {offer her your handshake. She’ll most likely tell you hers.}
“I really like your [earrings, other appearance accessory, (NOT HER BOOBS, THOUGH)]. They look exotic? What’s the story with them?” {there’s always a story.}
Pick out keywords from what she’s saying and ask follow up questions. Don’t say too much. You win the day the more you let her talk and actively listen to her.
After a bit, though, you have to make a cool exit, because you want to stay just long enough to meet her but not be the guy who wouldn’t go. 10 - 20 minutes is my standard intro conversation time.
“You’re really awesome. Listen, I gotta run, but it’s been really great talking to you. I’d really love to do this again.” {Most likely, she’ll understand, smile, and say ‘me, too!’}
Then, and this is the bravery part, but it’s just this…
“Let me get your number and I’ll call you and we can do something fun!” {Say this like it’s the most obvious thing in the world, because at this point she thinks it is.} {At this point, she’ll either tell you she already is taken or she’ll give you a number. If she’s taken, it’s all good. Tell her her boyfriend’s a lucky guy and tell her you had a great time talking to her. If not, hey, you got a number.}
Then, split. Go to the other side of the room or find some reason not to continue hanging out there. Go outside or head for the bathroom. You’ve got a number (hopefully). For the rest of the time you’re both in the same room, don’t hang out with her unless she approaches you. Don’t flirt with her. Call her in a few days when you think of something fun to invite her to, and spend 10 minutes on the phone with her then and go have some coffee (or whatever you both enjoy).
Be bold, like Captain Kirk. Captain Kirk isn’t the best fighter in the world, but he always wins. He’s not the smartest guy in the world either, but everyone knows he’s the leader, because he knows he is. What would Captain Kirk do in this situation? If you’re any kind of nerd, you know. Be like him. Just don’t talk like him or try to get the red shirt crewman killed (unless he’s really annoying).
It took me a while to figure out not to hang out with strange women all night. Don’t overstay your welcome. 10 - 20 minutes. If you make positive eye contact with someone you find attractive, make sure she knows you’re on the way (with your obvious moves in her direction) in a very short period of time, just to make sure she doesn’t think you’re not interested. Go quickly before you talk yourself down with all the BS we always tell ourselves {she’s out of my league, she’s got a boyfriend, she’s way too cool to be seen with me}. If nothing else, you get to spend the next quarter hour hanging out with someone cool and nothing happens except a smile. Nothing wrong with that.
Finally (at least for now), if you get rejected, and you will, it’s not personal. Never think a woman is rejecting YOU. A whole bunch of factors could play into whatever is going on in your dynamic. She doesn’t know you. She can’t really tell whether or not you’re worth knowing. So, when you get rejected, don’t take it as a referendum against you, in the same way that you shouldn’t get one of those old-people scooters just because you fall on the sidewalk (It doesn’t mean you suck at walking, but hey, everyone trips). She doesn’t know you, so you’re just a stranger and so is she. If she’s snarly or bitchy or aloof or cold or has a boyfriend or whatever her deal is, it’s all good. You’re still the man. Move on to someone else who deserves your attention more. In the same vein, if you hit on every girl in the room, most of the girls in this room will notice, so after your 20 minutes are up with this one, if you want to talk to more of them in the room, give yourself a few minutes doing something else before making a non-obvious move in the direction of someone else.

The Master Cleanse is pseudoscience nonsense. It’s the same basic principle as the liver flush. The idea that you have to supplement the processes your body evolved over millions of years with some bull poo that a naturopathic quack came up with in the 60s is total nonsense.
No athlete of any significant caliber does this kind of nonsense. Stick to the fundamentals. A good, varied diet and plenty of exercise.

The answer is stupefyingly simple. If you’re in a group of people, eavesdrop, pick up on something they’ve said and say, “I couldn’t help but overhear…”
You don’t know what to say and you’re afraid you’ll sound stupid? Everybody worries they’ll sound stupid. Here’s your solution…
Listen more than you talk. Don’t just stand there like a retard, though. Ask questions. Conversing is more than waiting for your turn to talk.
Listen for key words and phrases in what the other person says. Ask follow up questions. Keep them talking about themselves and they’ll think you’re the coolest person ever. Be sincerely curious about them. Most people just wait for their turn to tell their story, too. Deep down, we’re all, every one of us, insecure and scared of embarrassment.
Tyler Durden said it best. “You are not special. You are not a beautiful and unique snowflake. You’re the same dying organic matter as everyone else.”
Remember what that means. Your skittishness isn’t because you’re broken or flawed or any different from anybody else. You’re just talking yourself out of interacting with other people. Try letting someone else talk, don’t worry about saying anything stupid, laugh at their jokes, and own your quirks. It’s just a matter of practice, brother.
Every one of us is that kid at the lunch table sitting by himself. Whether you spend your whole life at the lunch table alone is entirely up to you.

She has more experience than Barack Obama? Really?
Let’s see. She was elected to the statehouse in Alaska in 2006. Before that, she was the mayor of Wasilla from 1996 until 2002.
Barack Obama was elected to the US Senate in 2004. Before that he served in the state senate of Illinois from 1997 until 2004. This means he has about a year more experience than does Sarah Palin. His constituency outnumbers hers by a factor of 20 to 1.
But, you’re right. Without decades of experience, a president can’t lead. You can’t name one that didn’t have at least 15 years experience that…

Abraham Lincoln served in the House of Representatives for 2 years after 8 years in the Illinois State Legislature.
Franklin Roosevelt was a governor of New York for 4 years after 2 in the state legislature.
Thomas Jefferson had less than 10 years of experience before he became John Adams’ Vice President and subsequently was elected president.
Teddy Roosevelt was a governor for 2 years and a state legislator for 2 years before becoming the vice president.
Harry Truman was Vice President for a few months after 10 years in the Senate before FDR died and put him in the White House.
In fact, the only person generally considered among the 10 greatest Presidents in American History with more than 15 years of what you’d call experience was George Washington.
He served as the general of the Continental Army (and later US Army) for 8.5 years, and colonial legislature for 16 years.
Most of the presidents with more than 20 years of significant public service experience rank as our worst presidents.
