Yea, I know you are and its normal to feel that way now.
Your heart is still vulnerable Dots, and you being as loving and caring as you are, it gets emotionally difficult to deal with.
Thats why you have to stay away from contacting him or him to you.
You are in the initial stages of the healing process.
You will get better though, I know this for a fact.

I admire you, really. What you are doing is hard and I personally know cases where a friend, and one person I dearly loved weren’t strong enough to get out of their abusive relationships. I had one sister who was in one when she was younger and 4 kids later, single, is paying the price.

Thats why it makes me sad when I hear cases like yours, most women are so loving (i was raised between women…no dad = 4 sisters 1 mom and 1 grandma). Makes me angry “men” that treat women like sh’t, but I always have kept my distance in the cases I have seen, only helping where I could (as to what final desision to make) because its always up to the woman.

Haven’t decided yet. Still working it out.

Here, summer has hit. Been spending a lot of time at the pool and with my kids. Trying to plan fun for the summer (trip to Alaska) and thinking about returning to school in the fall.

Well that was one of the more helpful replies I’ve seen on this site. I haven’t been around all that long but in my opinion practical responses like that are what the site is all about. I may not provide help like it too often (or at all, I’m not sure) but I still think it’s a very good thing!

Umm i listen to almost anything. i dance hip hop and funke, when im not doing the broadway stuff…but music wise, i love rock. The dave matthews band, the runaways, creed, 3 doors down, r.j.a, then there is always the chill music like Jack johnson, colbie, and Iz. and i absolutely LOVE jazz. Ella is one of my favorites :]
