  the key of getting better is to somehow either through expierence, love or anything else is that you must switch the part of your brain that sees the world as a dark and suffering pessimistic place and turn it to optimisitc and hopeful oneb once you start to do that everything seems much better little things in life you appreciate much more.
  
  a person much feel loved no matter what. it doesnt matter who but if they have someone in their life they feel love them some of the pain eases.
  
  you must love yourself before anything else if you cant love yourself then you will never be able to heal. to forgive yourself for your mistakes is the hardest thing to let go of the choices that you have made is hard.
  
  stay busy do these that make you happy keep your mind off little things that may stress you out because when you depressed everything seems bad but not to someone else for example a little stress to someone who doesnt have depression its no big deal but to someone with it its the end of the world
  
  stop finding things in the world that are bad on purpose stop blaming the world and everyone else for your unhappiness. i used to blame my alchoholic mom for my problems but then i realized that no one can control that about me she has her problems and i have mine she has her unhappiness and i have mine they shouldnt intertwine.
  
  know you are not alone and that there is a way. i promise you there is.
  
  dont self mulitlate, drink, smoke, throw up or anything else work on that first fight that stuff off first and then it will get a little easier once the weight of the world of those addiciton is gone then you can focus on your mindset

• It pisses me off when people say cutters are freaks.
  

  i agree its been really hard for me to look past the shame i feel and the fear of being judged cause i dont want to be ashamed of what could potencially help someone someday. my mom thought i was a freak it hurt deeply and still hurts cause id take it back in a second if i could. not many people want to be that way and people should learn to realize that.

• My friend has been cutting herself since 7th grade
  

  tell someone. i wish someone had for me it would have saved me a lot of long lasting consequences i have to deal with everyday because it got so bad.i dont cut anymore but the addiction never truely goes away. be the strong friend she needs even if it means risking your friendship you may just be saving her life by telling someone. it reached a point for me where i wanted to die you can save her from that pain just get the courage to tell someone. trust me its the right thing to do even if it feels like your betraying her.

  well my parents think im looking for attention but really with how much my mind races and how much i worry and all the thoughts i think all at once i feel like im going insane and i just wanted to see what other people thought cause i think im going to try and get some help. i dont want people to think im looking for attention though i just feel like im a lot smarter then what my grades are telling me and i just would like the comfort of a relaxed mind because its really hard to sleep with how much i think.

  im sixteen now and i think i may have it. i just dont know how i know i try really hard to get work done but my mind is always racing and it gives me a headache to try and concentrate and get the work done. im really disorganized and it stresses me out and teachers tell me all the time i have to get my act together and i do try and stay organized but it just never happens and i always forget things at home for school. its been like this since middle school but it seems to be worst this year maybe cause the workload is more.
