Awesome, mines a black ‘89, also got a Fender acoustic somewhere.
Hide? Yes! Talents? None! I don’t really play anymore, it was fun messing about when I was a teenager but you know, you get to the point where you run out of the time to do things which you enjoy but aren’t very good at. I pick it up every now and again though. Slash is indeed a god amongst men, somebody get the man a medal!
She was a very beautiful girl, I can’t claim credit for that. I’m just proud of the post production. The scan was crap but I spent hours in the darkroom doing the prints, I had the perfect sepia on it (doesn’t show in the scan) and pushed the film to 3200 ISO from 200. It’s not the best lighting job I’ve ever done but I’m proud of the print. My girlfriend??? I’m far too cynical for one of those!
lol, Wow!!! me tooo. Have a gold 1965 Les.Was my dads.I treasure it. Also have 2 orig. acoustics, and a fender jazzmaster.Very nice portrait by the way :) certaintly doesn’t hurt that the model was beautifil!Your girlfriend? haven’t played in band for a couple of years now. Miss it, always asked to though, but been too busy. The old les is by far a favorite of many a great.. Slash, one of my favorite musicians among a host of others lol.Do you play at all out in public, or hide your talents away? lol…
If I sing it sounds like a spider trying to fart through it’s ears. My guitar was a Les Paul (real one.) Do you still play in bands?
I just stick to portrait photography, I like building up a rapport with a client (or small group thereof.) As I said I’m a trad photographer and not many people want black and whites of their wedding.
I do a bit of work with models and actors but it’s the whole black and white thing again a lot love it but want a few colour shots as well so I loose out a lot on that. I’m best with character shots. This is one of my favorites (and the only one I bothered to digitise): http://www.flickr.com/photos/renzo_sa…
Not a typical studio shot but the client liked it.
Not really, the guitar is the most requested. I too was in a couple of rock bands.Great extra cash on the week-ends… Like you, anything that’s good, lol, lol. Have you checked into the modeling agencies for work?Everyone always needs a head shot lol.Do you do weddings and exciting events at all? What did you play? Bass or guitar? Vocals as well?
Nice!
Certainly sounds as though it was destiny with all that in the family. That’s certainly a lot to teach, I used to play the guitar in a metal band a while back never got anywhere though. I love music - anything as long as it’s good, what are you into?
I hope the sauce works, I’ve never had to make it so I can hardly call myself an expert in the field.
I’m a traditional portrait photographer.
Did local mall clothing store runway stuff. Also for hair shows in cosmetology.Wanted to possibly be a full RN, but my love of music was conflicting. Both parents were music teachers, and 2 aunts nurses,so I guess it runs in the blood.Mostly nurse at the red cross and teach keyboards, guitar and voice. Thanks for the recipe will have another go of it. lol, was using red onions, shallots probably would work alot better. Do you enjoy music at all? What do you photograph?
Funky! What type of modeling did you do? A nurse too? And what do you teach a specific instrument or are you working in general teaching?
Hmm, tartar sauce. No real advice but I’d say if you make your own mayonaise and chuck in a few shalotts and a bit of garlic with the rest of the ingredients you shouldn’t go too far wrong. It’s not somthing I’ve ever made though so please don’t take it as Gospel.
BTW my sauce was called ‘a mess.’
X model, now work between teaching music, and LPN.Love to cook also. A mean steak, yummy roasts, and delicious soups… Been trying to come up with a good tartar sauce. Any advice? What did you call your sauce?
It’s not that unusual is it? At the moment I just cook in a cafe, I don’t want a complicated job while I’m running my own business as well. When I was a ‘real’ cook people said I was best at grilled red mullet (with appropriate accoutraments) or a roast beef (rare) and yorkies. Did a good steak too by all accounts, I came up with a sauce that was rather popular (just where I worked, I didn’t change culinary history.)
What’s your trade/profession?
I’ve got to agree with you about listning to the rain - and we get a lot of it here at the moment. Beyond that it’s mostly work. I work as a part-time cook, when I’m not a cook I’m a photographer. I get fewer jobs but I charge a lot more so it evens out. When I’m not doing that I’m writing but I have never managed to get published yet (and probably never will.) After that it’s just the mop fetish that fills my time.
lol, Well, I enjoy reading, music, walking in the snow, swimming in the ocean, listening to the rain, and being of help to others.Nothing better then watching a good comedy or scary movie.Too sentimental for my own good lol, lol, How about you, besides making people crack up and posing with mops? lol
Be careful, I might end up with too great an opinion of myself - and I can’t afford to buy a bigger hat (again.)
Anyway I’ve indulged my passion for pointless pedantry poor & witicisms for far to long at your expence. Why don’t you talk about you for a bit?
I might be able to bore you to sleep, is that acceptable? If not I could bore to to tears or insanity, I’m currently learning to bore people to buggery and next year I start studying how to bore people to death.
Hi seas, glad you’re back on form I’m in GMT what time are you in (it’s 1300 here at the moment - oh and it’s currently still Friday.) I work shifts so my net time is a bit sporadic generaly I’m just on when I’m on. An equally fantastic weekend to you sir/madam.
Hi, ya, Much better, was a little under the weather , but ok today, always good to read your comments. Are you ever on durning the evenings? Well lol, may be a time zone issue. It’s morning for me now…Hoping you have a nice and pleasant week-end :D
