  What guy ever does have any intentions that don’t include sex with their girlfriend? I have no problem with sex whatsover. My problem is in our life state, and whether society would frown on us.

  Think about everything you’ve shared with this guy. And this other guy, do you know if it will ever be as good as you have with your boyfriend? You say you love him, but do you? Love is a powerful thing, and if it is love, then the feelings you have for him are however fragmented…perhaps worth staying for? However, it is entirely your decision. But like everyone else has said…listen to your heart. But then again, I do that and it nearly always goes badly.

  The best kind of love, in my opinion, is the kind of love that is all-consuming. For love to work, you have to go through absolute hell. You have to almost completely destroy each other, and cut down until all the parts of you that are meaningless break away and all that is left is the pure, raw you and your significant other. THEN you can find the happiness you deserve. Love is suffering, it’s pain, it’s all-consuming passion, it’s self-destructive, but it is the greatest thing you’ll ever do. To love unconditionally, irrevocably means forever. And everyone knows that relationships are so hard because the only thing harder than a relationship is being completely alone. And loneliness is about the scariest thing there is. Work through it, mull it over, and see if it really is the kind of love that deserves all that.

  When I was fourteen, my boyfriend was eighteen. You know what? We were together because we cared about each other, not because he wanted to jump my bones straigh away. And we broke up after a few months, still not having had sex. Not every teenage relationship ahs to be about sex straight from the off. There are so many teenage relationship that can last years without having sex. A relationships is about closeness. Being together, and loving each other, and treating the other with respect. And I am a great believer in the all-consuming love. An THAT is far too powerful to just shut off…just to name a few examples: Cathy and Heathcliff, Romeo and Juliet, Bella and Edward for Christ sake. And funnily enough, those relationships weren’t full on sex straight from the off. A real relationship requires more than that. I would never advise someone to shut off their feelings (we are people, not robots). Of course, every romantic relationship works on the premise that eventually, sex will be had…that’s the process of a romantic relationship. But that doesn’t mean it can’t be in a few years. And three years age difference is fine, as long as you realise that she is too young for sex at the moment.
  But the entire point of this post was that he is IN LOVE with this girl, and she ahs a boyfriend. And honey, I am going through the exact same thing. Only my best friend’s girlfriend is a liar and a cheat and I can’t tell him…despite the fact that I am completely in love with him.
  Darling, this relationship she has isn’t going to work out. Unless he makes the effort to see her more, then she’ll get fed up of being alone. And who’s always there for her? YOU. She’ll realise that, just give her time.
