  I recommend finding a support group in your area, like the Rainbow Alliance or some such. That is a great place to meet and greet people that you may have commonalities with. Also a great place to meet prospective partners ;)
  
  Secondly, if you know the person is straight, don’t even go there. Don’t even THINK about going there. You’ll end up hurt in the long run, as you know.
  
  So network with like minded people, and keep in mind you’ve got your whole life to find the ONE.

  Magick is a talent carried in the blood and the spirit, but conversely all those abilities that humans call talents are really forms of magick.
  
  Magick and witch craft are a label for a body of observable circumstance. To deny the reality of that which can not be observed is unreasonable, which is why those who use magick effectively are those who reason more clearly than other beings. Theirs is an awareness that springs intuitively from heightened perceptions of the world as it really is. Magickians do not accept a limited reality worked out by the painful intellectual plodding of less gifted individuals. If you succeeded, congraulations! Now use your gift wisely.
  
  Not causing harm is a responsibility that comes from wht you’ve been given. At times you may be powerless, but because of this you will hve empathy for those in pain or those who despair. Nothing happens to us without purpose. What we do because of it, what we do about it, is the key to who and what we are.
  
  Power carries with it responsibility. A respect for tradition. It must be tempered with compassion- hopefully intelligence, and an understanding of human flaws. It is never to be used carelessly, although there is room for humor. Above all, it must never be used to harm.
  
  You are not being paranoid. If you feel you don’t know what you’re doing, stop. Seek guidance from those that do.
