  I believe your not really speaking of Like or love, but the amount of attention people give your friend. just because your friend gets more attention doesn’t mean she is more loved then you. There is no reason to hate her just because she gets more attention. I believe your lonely and feel self conscious around her because she is getting what you need. the important thing is to like yourself people seem to flock to one that is smiling and that is happy to just be her self. I think your too hard on yourself and need to find things in yourself that you like. Also there seems to be alot of needs going unmet in your life right now. be honest with yourself and find a way to meet the needs like love and friendship, laughter, and there will be no reason to hate anyone once your needs are fulfilled.

  I Think you should be happy and proud of your self; if you still reach out to your family they will finally grow and get the picture. However you must understand if your family has never gotten out of their struggling and they are still suffering with it; that is why they are having trouble showing you how proud they are of you.

  My Name is rebecca appel I suffer with anxiety and depression caused by a life time of Emtional, sexual and physical abuse. I have high blood pressure and have worked in a High paced; very stressful call center, for the passed 10 years and I feel I will Never be able to quit because i’m not willing to take the risk on another job for less pay. I have 3 sisters two of which have gone under major sugery in the pass mouth to cure cancer. In the passed mounth my life has become so busy and stressful that I have been forced to leave work due to over whelming depression and an inability to handle the stress of everyday liveing.
  And ya know I don’t deserve I life like this; it’s been hard and frankly I hate it. On the other hand I’m a hard worker, I have faith I will make it through this, I have friends and family to support me, I have help.com for encouragement. I have shed many many many tears in my life but never not once did i believe that someone would suddenly appear and all at once my problems would just go way. issues in life make us strong wheather we deserve what we go through or not. Your issues are a challage it’s a work in progress my dear you will find a way to make things better. what does not kill us will always make us stronger. have hope; I wish you well.

  facing obstacles brings the challenges to our lives. It sound a bit like you have lost your self in the process. I’m sorry your daughter is being mean to you. You sound like a wonderful person that bad things have happened too. I have news for you… the end is not near, and your life is not over. You will have to work very hard and face things you don’t deserve, but you will come through a stronger person. Believe in your self and your ability to find a way out of the issues your struggling with. search and accept any help you can till your back on your feet again. Most of all express you gratefulness and love for your daughter she is the first of many that will help you if you adopt this kind of attitude.

  I’m loving the humor you put into this post. I also believe a sense of humor is the spice of life. but there is also hurt and a cry for help in what you have said. Please don’t believe your partner with the negative emotional abuse that they choose to reflect on you. I can tell just by the way you created your post you are a confident, radiant, good person who deserves the respect and love of others. be good to your self and let go of the ones that are negative. they will only bring you down.

  lol - Men! sometimes you want to beat beat beat them. but we don’t like jail. so then we rethink. I would try to make a list of 5 things he could do that would really make your birthday nice and tell him to pick 3 and (very nicely say) or the xbox gets sold in the next yard sale (or hidden in the laurdry shoot.) walk away and see what happends. then follow through. if he doesn’t act; about mid day I would go out and start partying with out him.

  You say you failed in chinese when you are chinese. what makes you think just because you struggle that you have failed? I am an american and I do horrible in english. can’t spell to save my life. I don’t believe I have failed; just believe it’s harder for me to learn. And I still learn; work on your weakness and let your straights lead you. because struggling or not you going some where!!!

  Sounds like your being pretty hard on yourself for not being what you consider normal. there are tons of people who don’t like to be social, or don’t know what to say. sounds to me your only problem is you would like to be talking and be one of the crowd. makes sense - you really just don’t know how. it’s ok not to know how to do something. There could be something that you do well that none of those talking crowed people could ever do. does that make you treat them any different? and maybe when you do start talking the problem is no one is hearing you. just because people don’t offer the courtesy of listening to you doesn’t mean your doing anything wrong. when your in a crowd everyone is talking and most of the time they don’t listen to each other. so I would be a good listener since they are hard to find. and see what happens. You might find that listening is what you do best.
