  Hmm…this is a difficult situation. I really don’t know quite what to say.
  
  Speaking as the male in my own relationship…admittedly, it can be very easy for guys (being the morons that we are) to lose track of what’s really important in life. Human beings in general get so caught up in trying to support the people we love, and in trying to help those around us, that we can often fall prey to things like opportunism, greed, even lust. When you spend long enough fighting for something, the easier and quicker option can seem more seductive. Essentially, when things are hard…sometimes one thinks of taking the quick and easy path.
  
  It’s been my experience that guys in general - myself included - are bad for this. It’s been my experience that there’s a lot of pressure on males to try and be the perfect protectors and providers (and, given the fact that most of us are drivelling idiots, we screw it up an awful lot). It’s also been my experience that males are not the most in-touch creatures when it comes to emotion. Does this mean that we, as a gender, are incapable of love? Hardly. What it means is that when things are hard, we hurt - cut us, do we not bleed? We hide our feelings, we even bury them at times, when we get caught up in day-to-day stresses and worries. It happens - but, gods know, it shouldn’t. There might be times when it seems, or it feels like your partner doesn’t love you. Men seem to be the instigators more, but women do it, too. Remember, though, that you can only see things from one point of view - talk to them, find out theirs, and maybe have a little faith. It could be that they’re doing their best to make you happy, and their best to show their love - maybe they just have a poor way of going about it.
  
  I suppose what I’m trying to say is…don’t give up. Don’t give up on him, and don’t give up on love. In his own way, I’m sure he’s doing the best that he can for you. Consider that when he thought you were moving on, he wanted to go out with you again. What does this mean? Well, from an observer’s perspective, it looks to me like you mean something to him, and it looks to me like he wants you. He cares about you.
  
  No, things aren’t the same as before. You’ve suffered a rift in your relationship, and that’s difficult to go through. I know. But…just because love isn’t the same as it was before doesn’t mean that it’s not love. Just because something becomes difficult doesn’t mean you give it up. If we didn’t have to fight for love, struggle for love, and hurt for love, then where would its value be? What’s so great about something so easily gained?
  
  If you break up, from my point of view, it’s over. If you don’t, then you’ll have weathered one hell of a storm together. And if you can weather this one, it will make it easier to ride out the next time a storm arrives.
  
  Keep in mind that a wise man once stated “Love isn’t never leaving. Love is always coming back.”

• engineering drawing or computer science which is a better career option?
  

  Eeeeeeeeeesh…tough question. I’m gonna go with computers. Even if you can’t find work right in the computer industry, you can apply computer skills to a lot more lines of work than engineering drawing. If you don’t get a job right in your field, computers are crucial enough to enough environments that you’ll have something to fall back on. If you can’t get a job in engineering drawing…that’s not an option.

  Find something you do well in, and apply yourself. Try and build a resume that’s going to put yourself a step ahead. There are lots of workshops, volunteer groups, and activities that you can involve yourself in that can go a long way towards building up for the future.
  
  The most important thing…believe that you can do it. It’s daunting, at first…but just keep believing that you can do it. Have confidence.
