Are you sure you’re demented. Dementia isn’t very conducive to passive argument, like posting here about your dementia and suicidal behavior (if you were suicidal, you’d be dead, not talking about it).
I don’t mean to be argumentative but most people who are suicidal are just that, suicidal not necessarily dead or actually want to carry out the act of suicide. Some people who are suicidal do it for attention and because they actually have other problems they want to call attention to not necessarily that they want to die. But this post is not about that. This post is about the poster who claims not to be suicidal but posted here. Exactly what do you need help with poster?
2009-12-09 11:39:05 on is tired of people saying i need theapy!
OK. Then why are you posting and what do you actually need help with?

Help someone who is sad / anxious
* Change your thinking, by Sarah Edelman (do her short courses too - they are excellent)
* The Practice of Rational Emotive Behaviour Therapy, by Albert Ellis (the non-psychologists psychologist)
* Learned Optimism, by Martin Seligman (founder of the deservedly popular positive psychology movement)
Save your relationship
* Living and Loving Together, by Dr Bob Montgomery (bad title, good book - although written by a lecturer of mine who was sometimes somewhat inappropriate)
Understand how your kids grow up
* Looking Forwards Through The Lifespan, by Kandy Peterson
Bluff your way in various aspects of Psychology
* Systems of Psychotheray: A Transtheoretical Analysis, by Prochaska and Norcross (this is the must have book for understanding all the different forms of psychology (existential, CBT, psychoanalytic, systemic and so on). It’s very useful.
* The Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders -(DSM - IVTR) (this is the reference book that lists all the psychological issues people have and how to diagnose them)
Understand who you are and what its all about
* ‘Existential Psychotherapy’ by Irvin Yalom (this book frighteningly had the power to make me to change my name from Adam to Max (it’s still officially Max according to government records!)
* ‘Loves Executioner’ by Irvin Yalom (everyone should read at least one thing written by Irvin Yalom)
Be titillated with Sensational Forensic Psychology Stuff based in Science
* Whoever fights monsters’, by Robert Ressler (this is the guy who started by the Behavioural Sciences Unit for the FBI, the guy Silence of the Lambs is based on)
* Sexual Homicide by Ressler et al (great stuff)
Understand Consumer Psychology
* The mental world of brands’, Wendy Gordon (very boring but some good stuff in there)
* The soul of the new consumer, Lauri Windham (dated but good)
* The advertised mind, by Eric Du Plessis (not a psychologist, he’s an ex Millward Brown researcher, but still an interesting read)

I suggest that you get back to work then so that you will be able to pay your heat and other bills. Not sure who took your money but try and get it back. Hope this helps :-)
I guess that the “American Way” knowing that the unemployment rate is high! I guess you have plenty of time to just sit around and respond to post.
Take a Midol Igor! You’re the one asking for help paying your bills!
You need to go out and try to find a job to pay your bills instead of being here in front of the computer trying to rip people off!
2009-12-09 11:26:24 on Should i be getting Married?
Yes, but if you are going to be anticipating bad things in your marriage such as divorce, the only thing you’re going to do is call it to you and it will be. Why not anticipate the greatest marriage in the whole wide world that will last 1000 years regardless of the hurdles and obstacles you meet during your lifetime?
Forget all the bad crap. Get married and be happy!!
2009-12-09 11:23:59 on Hey, i have thaught about asking for help for a while,
I think what you have done is basically make all of us look at ourselves to see who can beat you at being ugly. Don’t get me started on my ugliness.
But, why would you want to do that?
Should we throw a pity party and start feeling sorry for ourselves?
I think not. If anything we should all be striving to move forward and maybe carve a better future for ourselves regardless of how we look.
Feeling sorry for oneself does not bring anything constructive, creative, or productive.
You need to keep on going. Life awaits you!
2009-12-09 10:44:01 on Should i be getting Married?
Are you afraid of cramping your style once you get married?
2009-12-09 10:43:08 on Hey, i have thaught about asking for help for a while,
Why are you so obsessed about how you look or how you want to look? Has something really bad happened in your past to actually make you do that in relation to your looks?
2009-12-09 10:40:57 on I’m going for a transvaginal ultrasound and I’m terrified.
Transvaginal ultrasound. The transducer is shaped to fit into a woman’s vagina. A woman may have both transabdominal and transvaginal ultrasounds to look at the whole pelvic area. A transvaginal ultrasound is done to look for problems with fertility. In rare cases, a hysterosonogram is done to look at the inside of the uterus by filling the uterus with fluid during a transvaginal ultrasound. Sometimes, a small sample of tissue (biopsy) may be taken with small tools inserted through the vagina during a transvaginal ultrasound.
If it’s something serious, the doctors will find it and will be able to tend to it becomes it becomes serious.
I’m praying for you! :)

Do you actually want a life with this man?
2009-12-09 10:34:33 on Help recently retired, married, he took all my money,
No.
Sorry. Nobody here can help you.
While we at help.com are really sorry about your situation, I’m not sure anybody here is able to help you.
The only thing I can send you is lots of blessings and good wishes.
If you came here looking for money, sorry there is no money. As far as donations of any kind, I don’t think you’re going to find that here either. However, I might be wrong. I hope someone who can help you sees your plea. Sorry.
We at help.com are so broke we cannot pay attention.
Click these websites, you might find something there:
And for a job if you want one:
And who knows, with the law of averages if you go to enough websites, you’re bound to find a benefactor who will be willing to part with his money and give it to you.
Good luck to you
