lifeisabeach's Top (2) Replies by other users' votesIt’s not worth it. Honestly everyone has their ups and downs. Sometimes the downs can be so low that you just want to give up. People claim “you don’t know what I’m going through.” Possibly true, but is it isn’t worth taking your life over. EVERYONE has their obstacles and sufferings to bear. The best way to overcome this is by helping others. Their will ALWAYS be someone worse off than you. (Even if they don’t act like it…everyone has their cross to bear). Instead of being selfish, be SELFLESS. Everyone is capable of making such wonderful and amazing differences in the world.. and by taking your life you will never find that out. And don’t think this happens overnight because it won’t. Time is such a beautiful gift given to each human being in the world. You might as well spend it making the BEST of it. Instead of not caring about anything or caring too much about something look beyond it and just realize that you must make the best of it. Everyone suffers. Its human nature.

These two quotes seriously changed my life. I was suicidal throughout my high school years. I have realized that I could rise above. I encourage you all to take these words to heart. I hope and pray it helps anyone and everyone who needs it.

yeah i know what you mean by it makes it worse because then you start to feel guilty about feeling bad for yourself. i’ve been there. i still go through that sometimes.
the truth is you really need to rise above this both mentally and physically. i’m not saying to get a big head and be prideful but you need to see the beauty and greatness in the world around you.
