I am looking for any help to Save Our School–SOS Middleberg. We are a small rural school with 213 students, PreK to 8th grade. We are so rural that we don’t even have our own town, nearest town is about 8 miles away. We are in desperate need of donations or help with good resources to get donations ASAP in order to keep our school open. We have not received our schools taxes from the only large organization (a country club/golf course) in our district in over three years. Our state funding was reduced because the value that the property noted as from the owner. He owes our school over $300,000. We may not even have fuel or food to feed the children the last month of school. He refuses to contact the school and we have no other resources since most of our families are low income farmers. Please help anyway possible. I can send a copy of letter from our school if needed to prove our situation. I am just a Mom that wants to help our school stay open. I served 20 years in the military to move back home to raise my young children in a good environment. Our academic team won 1st in ORES, 3rd in State, Basketball 1st runner up in State, 1st place in Softball, and we have a lot of good kids with potential. Email (email removed)
