  When you cut it releases endorphins in your body, which is why it creates a sort of ‘high’ & makes you feel better.
  
  You can get these same endorphins from other things, such as exercising or chocolate. (& they are much safer!!)
  
  If you have a problem trying talking to someone about it to relieve your stress.
  
  Cutting can also be a form of ‘attention seeking’. Especially if you are wondering what others would think right after you are cutting. Try to find a better way of seelking attention, possibly by simply asking for it - say ‘I need to spend some time with you.’

  You are 14, this may not exactly make sense to you now… but you should be enjoying your life, not worrying about boys. I know it seems like they take up most of your thoughts now, but try to do something else that will enrich YOUR life, not the life of some boy.
  
  Do you like music? Trying to learn to play an instrument, bass is a good one. Get involved in something that makes you happy that doesn’t involve a boy. Songwriting can be wonderful for the soul!
  
  When you learn to please yourself & be happy with who you are, it’ll be the boys worrying about how to please you, not the other way around!
