If she can’t sing, tell her. I’ve cut people loose before from my bands. It’s really tough to bring yourself to do. Just tell her that her voice doesn’t fit the style of your band. This way you aren’t telling her she’s bad, and you’re not lieing. If bass is what your position is in the band, then make sure you keep it (as long as you dont suck).

Post some posters at a local music store explaining that your band needs a singer. State your style, and influences. Then leave a phone number for people to contact.

I’m a musician, so I would know. I’m about to release a record, and I don’t want people to be downloading it without my permission. Fortunately, no one knows who my band is, so I don’t have to worry about it right now.

It hurts a band if you don’t pay them.

I would highly recommend not getting a P2P service. They are usually loaded with spyware, and slow down your computer. Please, help the musicians out that make the music and buy it so they can get paid.

There are many interpretations of “emo”.

When I was first introduced to the concept of “emo”, people dressed in black and cut themselves because they were very emotional. They thought that their life was bad or something.

As years have passed, for me, the definition doesnt really include cutting themselves, although people still do it today.

There is also the style of music of “emo” which goes right along with it. It’s like screamo, but the lyrics are usually about something bad happening.

Fall Out Boy is a band that some people consider “emo”, but in my opinion its completely overrated pop-punk crap.

What kind of mp3 player is it?
