How have you been? I have not been on much the past two weeks. My Aunt is here visiting us and I have been very busy with kid activities. It has been so nice having her here. Ray was out of town for over a week and it was so nice having another adult around. I have felt good the whole time she has been here. She leaves tomorrow :(

I’m thinking he fell asleep, but I did leave a reply on his post.

I am logging off. I am going to have lunch with my Aunt and Ray. Keep a eye for Snar if you are around today.

I am online, but I just noticed your shout. I can tell that you are very upset. Your son is going to benefit from everything you know about depression. Thank goodness he is growing up at a time when there is an awareness that anger and acting out are not just bad behavior.
I know you will get him the help he needs and you will work out the insurance so that he will be covered. Your son is so fortunate to have you as his mother. He could not be in more capable hands. E-mail me and we can “talk” more.

Are you on-line? Your light is on but sometimes that is not correct.

I have had a hard day and just want to say it. The councilor at school called to say she is concerned my son is showing signs of depression. It has just hit me really hard. I was hoping none of my kids would have to deal with this.

I talk to his doctor today. I took him in because his stomach has been bothering him and I have been concerned it was more mental then physical. Well it is gastritis that he said can be caused from anxiety and stress. He also said depression in boys his age (8) does usually show as anger and frustration more then sadness or feeling down. Which fits for how he is feeling. He does not show out word anger, but he feels angry and frustrated.

I am looking to getting health coverage before taking him to get a mental health evaluation. Right now I can not get him covered for is asthma because it is pre-existing. But if I get the insurance before we get a mental health diagnosis, then he will be covered.

Hi C-eek,
The kids have been home from school and have taken over the computer. They each get one hour of play time, with three of them, thats, 3hrs. I let them have extra time to play just math games. So, I do not get much computer time these days.

This summer is a summer of travel for the kids and I. We are driving to Minnesota in two weeks to visit Ray’s sister. On the way back we going to an amusement park in IL with my family. Then we will be staying in Northern Indiana for my Brothers wedding the following weekend. We are stopping in Indianapolis to visit friends on the way home. Then the we will be back in TN for a week and then going camping again. I am tired just thinking about it. So much time in the car can drive a mom crazy.

How have you been? Are you out enjoying the summer weather? I wait until evening when it is cooler before I go out. I do not like the summer heat to much. I prefer cool fall days. We have found a nice shaded walking/bike path that we bike through in the evenings. It has stream the runs through and it is tree lined. We see a deer each time to go. There is also a farm with two horses that we see. Nicest part of my day.

I just stopped in to see how things are going for you. I have not been on much the last couple weeks and notice that you have not been replying much either. Is all okay?

I think it would be hard to be married to a man like Trace who has women throwing themselves at him. Even if you trust your husband, it just would be hard to have to see that.

By the way, if my sister had the chance, she would throw herself at him too. (at least in her dreams) In reality she is loyal wife. When she found out I met him, she could barely breath. I think that is the only reason she is coming to visit us this summer. She is hoping to get a glimpse of him.

I just found out that Trisha Yearwood and Garth Brooks live down the road from us. I have never seen them or know what house is theirs. We went to the country music hall of fame for my sons field trip and his teacher is the one that told me they down the street from the school, which is next to my subdivision.

How much talent can one community stand? I love the lyrics to many of Trace’s songs, so we went to his concert at a local casino. He puts on a memorable performance and comes across as a man who feels deep love for his family. I was pretty shocked to see how shamelessly women in the audience were expressing their attraction to him. I guess men in his profession know how to keep their heads on straight.

I saw you posted a Trace Atkins song on a post. My son goes to school with his daughter. He and his wife seem to be very nice people.

Thanks for helping. I am making dinner and going back and forth to his post. The guys who do the music on Drag race High are coming over to watch it with us tonight.

Well, I tried to help on that post, but now I have to leave to pick up my dh. I will check back later to see how things are going. There are some very good helpers there, so know good things will happen.

I think that was what they were thinking, but of course, they would have found out that they were wrong. Only thing is Mas said the first message was wrong because it omitted a few lines of text. The explanation did not make sense to me, so I have been on the verge of disconnecting myself from the site. My feelings are hurt, but I am trying to get over it.

I guess I can’t tell what the problem was. Did they think you were using multiple accounts?

When you get a chance, read the shouts between Mas and myself. I was perplexed by her shout and her explanation gave me further reason to feel uncomfortable because it did not make sense to me. I respect Mas and can’t for the life of me figure out what she was investigating and why. I hate to admit that I am so fragile, but I am hurt. Hi Tanya, you have been missed. Nice of you to check in. The site has had some difficulties and changed since you have been gone. It was pretty shakey around her for awile. I considered leaving, myself.

Tanya, I have been able to take more time for myself since I discovered that your replies to posts were more eloquent than my own. With the exception of being devoted parents, my own daughters have not been following in my footsteps, but you are very like me. Those of us with a burning desire to be helpful to others must answer that call. I wish you all the best in your search for the best way to do that. Just in case you would like to keep in touch, I am going to open my e-mail address to you.

My van is 10yrs old and my husband car is a 2002. So the insurance is not that high, I just plan don’t like paying it. At this point in our lives we can afford it, but for a long time we have had to go with out it and it really messed us up. My husband got a ticket for not having insurance. Since we could not pay the ticket or get insurance, he ended up losing his license. That is all in the past but I know people still stuck there.

About your closed car insurance post, I think in California, you can post a bond with the state, if you would rather do that than pay for insurance. BTW, I only carry liability insurange, so if I have an accident, and it was my fault, I will have to pay for my own repairs. I only drive older cars, though. I have saved a lot over the years.
