Grass lawns in an arid climate has never made sense to me. Even in a Mediterrainian climate like we have in San Diego, I don’t waste water on grass.
How are you resolving the housing issue? I am certain about your ability to come up with a creative solution. Did you find an RV,or..?
The grandkids are no trouble. I would keep them all the time if my daughters were not so blasted selfish. lol

Never used to be muggy up here in the High Desert - quite the opposite. But then along came all of the housing developments with their grassy lawns that need watering … and with those came the muggy weather. Things on my end running into the home stretch, so to speak. Will probably be online even less these next few weeks. Still, hope to bump into you in here now and again. If we don’t bump into each other for awhile: Stay well and healthy. Kudos to you re: managing grandkids - as much as I’m sure you adore them, it’s still got to be quite a task. Still babysitting grand-dogs, too?

All is right, again. I missed my computer most of all. I was frustrated because I could not drag the refrigerator out far enough to pull the plug. I was hoping my husband would come home from work to take care of that, but he was too busy making money. What a bad guy, right? Everything is back to normal. Husband is fed and sleeping. And yes, I blame him. lol

It was a crazy day for us. There was a huge thunder crash right over my house. My dogs are just like yours. Plus, we are taking care of our granddog for a few days. So, I had a house full of big, half crazy, dogs. Then, the power went out and stayed out for 8 hours. I was a grumpy woman when my husband got home from work.

OH YEAH. I’ve always loved storms, so does hubby, but they do tend to wreak a bit of havoc on the old bones. Spent the day consoling our 2 dogs. Cracks me up: they’d gladly place themselves in front of any danger facing me … but along comes a lighting bolt and/or the sound of thunder and it’s run straight to mommy time. lol. No damage out here - your end ok?
