hello, It is nice to meet you, please don’t think you are ever taking up my time. I’d love to sit and chat with you if you ever feel the need, or have the time to do so.

I know a bit about inlaws getting in the way, my mother in law caused alot of problems for my husband and i, and yes tried very hard to split us up many many times… ( She did, but we managed to find away back together with God’s help)

I would have to say that it’s your home and you certainly have the right to put a new room in your home if you want to.

could you guys or would you be willing to host bible studies in your home?
Your husband and yourself have to remain a united front on this, and you may have to put your foot down the two of you… Does your father in law not understand that you both need privacy? Perhaps he may need someone to talk to, the pastor? or an elder?

was your mother in law a Christian as well? Does your father in law understand that she is in a safe place, and that God has not abandoned him? Just because God took her does not mean that God has forgotten him. He is a son, a child of God and is loved very tenderly by God. There is security and assurance with God’s promises.
Is your father in law afraid of dying? afraid of dying alone? THere may be something deeper that needs to be penetrated in order to see your way through this issue.
