  This isn’t funny and is really stupid. If you hate this person so much then how can you call him your friend? What is the point in making the post, because it is just stupid. Just close the post because nothing good is going to come out of it.

  Tbh, I think Sherooo’s reply wasn’t pessimistic but realistic. In life there is only one person who you can truly rely on and that person is yourself.
  
  However, I don’t believe in cutting out friends all together and I try to take the risks in making friends. If I do get let down, I just try to take it and not let it bother me. I think the reason I am like this is due to past experiences. I don’t want to rely on friends but I would like to make friends.
  
  To answer the posters question, a loner/lone wolf is someone who doesn’t really spend much time with other people and spends a lot of their time alone. I personally wouldn’t be offended but I wouldn’t treat it as a compliment. Other people may be offended.

  There seems to be a lot of irony at help. Posts written to gather ideas about improving the site, seem to have the opposite effect, because someone is a bit over-sensitive *sigh*
  
  However, like you said Fizz, it is us, the users that need to start taking some action instead of sitting around hoping that the mods/admins will do something. I guess what the BETTER members can do, is just use this place like it was designed for; asking for and giving help. I have lost count on the number of times I have seen two users getting on well and then the next day someone says 1 tiny thing, and the place is in an uproar.
  
  There is a society of decent users here and I think we all know who they are. We just need to try and keep that society strong. We can do it as long as people just act a bit maturely about it. If someone does offend you, maybe politely ask about it, using shouts. If they give an abusive reply, then ignore them in the future. If it has stressed you out, go punch a wall or have cigarette or something. Just don’t release your stres in posts.
  
  We ALL know what we want from this site and if we just start to pull our finger out, we can reach that goal. Maybe if all the arguing between the decent users goes, the mods/admins may be able to deal with the trolls more effectively. If I have offended someone, PLEASE SHOUT ME! Don’t hijack the post.

  The people here do help when they can but they can’t help everyone. Sometimes there are problems that just can’t be fixed by the people here. If you have a problem, post it in a post and just be a little patient. Someone will come to help you IF THEY CAN.

  Interesting post. I think if just 1% of the population were to read this post and actually follow the advice, the world would be a better place. There were many times where I though that discrimination just went 1 way, when I was young. Boy, was I wrong.
  I meet loads of people from different cultures and societies and who are different in how smart or posh they are. I hear the posh bad mouthing the poor and the poor bad mouthing the posh. The thing is though, the majority of these people are all on the same wave length. None of us really want the unnecessary violences and wars in the world. Maybe if the petty discrimination was removed, Everyone could help make the world a better place.
