  Ya the age gap kind of sucks. The way I see it (and this is advice coming from a straight guy so I don’t know how relevant it is) you have two main options.
  
  1). Find some way to tell him how you feel. This will likely end in complication of your friendship but at least you will get your feelings out.
  
  2). Wait. I know it is difficult, but sometimes the best thing to do is wait. People are strange creatures. We will often shoot down crazy notions and ideas just for the fact that they are different and taboo. I think the age difference would cause you this guy to look at you differently, and I don’t mean as in a relationship. But over time love can grow desire and affection can grow just as it can be spontaneous. If you really want a shot at bieng with him, bide your time, build the groundwork, prove yourself.
  
  With time you can overcome the age barrier and bro - friend complication, your relationship will become more important.
  
  That’s at least the best I can come up with.

  I am the same way as Dan. I tried the books but that was way too boring. I just played. It sounded horrible at first but soon I progressed and became pretty good. The formal instruction and memorizing massive amounts of chordfs never worked for me. It all depends on your own personality. I guess I am more of a free spirit (kinda?&!%) so I just let my feelings come out. Try it, just don’t look at it like a job, you have to be this good by this time… just play and you will have fun and progress quickly.

  Personally I couldn’t say 100% I found it (oddly enough) off of one of the links from Buckethead’s (my idol, amazing guitarist) website. The author runs a fan site and blog for BH and this is one of his side projects. I haven’t done any poking around the net to see if anyone has any experience with them yet. But just given the circumstances to how I found it, seems it couls be legit.

  If you restart your computer in safe mode it will create an automatic admin login. Usually you can do this by hitting f11, or f12 when your computer first starts booting up. It could be f10 too, just try the function keys until it comes up with the bootup selection (you’ll know what I’m talking about when you see it).

  It is a risk but I got my last phone from ebay without any problems. Just check their feedback and always read the fine print. Sometimes I get in a hurry and forget then get charged extra insurance fees or something.
