  thank you so much black&white, thats so helpful :) we’ve only been together for 2 months so i agree that it’s really important to try and show him that i can make him feel safe and that he can always talk to me.
  and his ex-girlfriend (just before me) cheated on him with his best friend and is now with his best friend still. i think this has definitely given him some kind of trust issues but the other day he said he’s starting to realise that he needs to trust me and see that i’m a different person and not everyone is going to treat him how she did. so that made me feel like theres been progress :)

  i wasnt necessarily talking about material possessions, just nice things to surprise them with or make them smile. and this is me being myself! i like doing nice things for my boyfriend.

  I dont think they have a problem with it at all, they were all really nice and accepting yesterday. I just worry that I’m being too pushy in front of his friends and like he wouldn’t want me to make the first move when they’re around? actually the more i talk about it the more ridiculous that sounds! haha
