but then, perhaps i did too. my father passed away on monday morning, im all out of sorts right now. please forgive me. and do stay around, weve all had our run ins with people, its just the way it gos with human nature i guess.

I understand what you are going though. I’ve felt it… many of us have. Ken, actually is a really good mod. I’m sure he meant no insult. But I do understand you. Most of us here are looking for a little bit of validation. It’s important, and when we feel we get the opposite of that, it is very harsh. Now you may say that is not the case with you, and that’s ok too… still not getting the support you felt you needed is hard. It happened to you today… it’s happened to me many times.(including shouts from the main admin telling me to basically stop reporting posts)
The bottom line Medusa… I’ve seen your post and your more importantly your replies. You DO bring value to this site. If you must go, I will understand, but I will also mourn the departure of a valued member.

Yeah that happens from time to time, I’ve had many posts shut down, been banned and muted, just have to deal with it.

I have no “problem” with you. Ask me what you do not understand about this. You reported a post. The post was fine(good that you reported it but…), your reply to the poster telling them to leave is harassing or offensive. I told you kindly(as I had many people agree the shout was not offensive) that next time you report a post you think is wrong do not tell the user to leave or that they won’t get help here. Make the report and let us look into it. Do you understand?

You can report things. the report was fine to make. Better safe than sorry. in this case the post you reported didn’t violate the TOS. The thing you did wrong was tell the user to leave. Just reports posts and don’t bother telling them

erm, you left your response to yourself. I am telling you that the post was fine and that your reply telling them to leave was not needed.

How did I harass him? Does that mean that I am not able to report anyone? How do I know when it is ok to report someone or not? Should I not bother and leave it all to the mods? So what’s the point of having a reporting system? Could you please be less rude? A least explain why the post is ok rather than telling me I am haradding someone.

That users post is fine. In the future, do not harass users who you thinks posts are too sexual. Let us moderators look at the reports.
