  The first question is why are you unhappy? Is it something he’s doing? Is it something YOU’RE doing? Think hard and answer yourself honestly first. If you have three kids who love their dad you owe it to them to try to make things work.

  It’s natural to want others to feel the same as you do about people, but unless she’s actually wronged you or done something cruel, despite the fact that you do not like her, it would be petty and childish for your husband to allow your feelings to refract through him. Imagine if you were her, and one day your business partner comes to work hating you because his wife thought it was a good idea.
  
  You’d be pretty hurt, and pretty much screwed by the situation.
  
  Let it be. It sounds like you have a loving marriage with a successful, beautiful man. Don’t sabotage that out of paranoia.

  I’m gonna go against the grain and say that the guy isn’t so bad. He was honest. It wasn’t probably the most tactful honesty, but he WAS honest, and that’s way more than most people give anyone.
  
  I’m sure you’ve had guys into you that you just didn’t want anything to do with. This is no different, you’re just on the other side of the coin. Dust yourself off, be glad he was (if not a bit blunt) at least dignified enough to respect you and be honest with you. There’re plenty of other guys.

  I find that if I allow myself to eat when I’m down, but force myself to cook myself something that takes time and effort, as opposed to cracking out the crisps right away, I eat less and feel ten times better. Give it a go.
