  From the sounds of it, he may be battling with quite a bit of depression… I can recognise some of the symptoms from what you have here…
  
  The big problem with depression is the push/pull factor. As much as he may push you away, it’s the last thing he wants. The pain of depression is that you feel yourself slipping down that bleak pit, and every time you grab a handhold it caves, and at times it feels like you’re battling your own mind.
  
  Again, I don’t know the full story, and I won’t pretend to. The problem is, even if he dosen’t show it, the love is still there, hidden under a mask of depression… the best thing to do is let him know that you will not abandon him, because at the moment, he probably feels that it’s him against the world…
  
  at the moment, I’m battling this disorder to, and it helps, even if you can’t show it, to know someone’s at the end of that black tunnel, with a flashlight trying to guide you out.

  Nowadays, it’s a hard thing to place. Biologically, for any known lifeform, this advanced form of society is unprecedented. Naturally, the first time sex is even viable is puberty. While on a personal level I think that is wrong on a number of levels, that is the way nature engineered us, because the younger a developed creature can start reproducing, the better chances of multiple offspring and the more chance that one of those would survive…
  
  However, with our race it’s a little different.
  
  We have tragically overpopulated the planet, and we have no known enemy. This means there are no viable reasons for the evolution mechanic to still play out at a young age. Socailly, it’s part of our responsibility to keep a handle on things… not that the goverment helps…
  
  Legalities asside, it all boils down to preperation. Is this parrent going to treat the child like a puppy? Yay, and then forget about it with mother or adoption when it gets too much to handle?
