My name is Robert Kocak. I’m a CSR with a major marketing company, Teletech. I’m 28 years old, married w/ three children, ages 8, 5, and 3. We live in a rural area 7 miles in any direction of civilization. This may sound nice, but I was carjacked a few years ago and have been walking to and from work ever since. As a matter of fact, I have to push grocery carts home for food. I recently injured my leg (nothing serious) but I couldn’t walk on it for about 3 weeks. Not surprisingly, I was place on numerous warnings at work and didn’t recive two paychecks. This has caused all of my bills to be past due, some have even been shut off. I have barely any food in the house, welfare can’t help beyond what they’ve already done for me, and my family and I are estranged: we argue all the time. So in short, I am “cut off” from any immediate family or friends helping out. I have begun to sell my cds and movies for money to get food in my house, but I only have so many of them. With my next check not coming until next week, we have to eat Ramen Noodles. I’m not sure how to handle this situation, because normally I’m very self sufficient. But any help would be greatly appreciated.
