  How far away is the job? Sell at least some of your stuff and buy a bike! The bicycle is one of the most highly used modes of transportation. Get a job anywhere. If you lived near me I’d help you find one, my husband’s looking to hire people where he works. Anyway! Get a pedal bike and start job hunting.

  Listen, I have two sons. They’re both younger than you are now, obviously, but! But! I know that I’d want them to be happy. The only time I’d put the fear of God into them is if they were dating a drug dealer or someone who could very easily do serious damage to them. So, from what you’ve stated… I can’t really see your Mother being part of the equation.
  
  Never stop seeing someone because of another person. If you stop seeing someone make sure it’s your decision concerning /your/ well being. Take Mom’s advice, it’s probably good advice… But make up your own mind.
  
  There’s going to be a lot of girls in your lifetime. She may be the one, but don’t settle down too quickly.
  
  /My/ advice is to not ignore the girl. If you love her, then talk to her. Don’t let her run over you or your feelings, but it’s important to keep lines of communication open. Sort things out. You can’t fix a problem by avoiding it.

  Oh, gosh. I’ve been married seven years now. I tell you what! It’s hell starting out!
  
  Look at it like an investment, if he can read your heart then it’s an investment worth making. All this stuff going on is temporary, you guys aren’t going to be all the time. It just won’t happen. Everyone wants to jump ship at least once or twice in their marriage, it’s normal. I’ve also had two kids, so I know where you’re coming from.
  
  Marriage is an important part of an adult’s life, and like almost all other situations of this kind of importance… It’s TOUGH. Seriously, hold on to the image of the man that makes you laugh and makes you feel special about yourself… AND ENJOY WHAT’S LEFT OF YOUR NON-MOTHER TIME! Go dancing, go see a movie, go do something random in the middle of the night. Enjoy your free time. You’ll miss it once it’s gone! ^_^ Good luck.
