• Why is cutting yourself so bad?
  

  When I was a messed up kids who didn’t know how to deal with my problems, I cut myself. And once every two years or so it tends to rear it’s ugly head again but I deal with it better now. It’s bad because it doesn’t deal with the cause of the problem, it merely gives you something to distract yourself before it comes back and you go through it all over again. There are a million better ways of dealing with problems

  I take it you’re talking about sex? If you’ve been together 7 months then talk to her, ask her what she wants. If you can’t have that sort of conversation after 7 months together then you’re lost already

  I should have added that just because them going back would solve our problems, doesn’t mean I want them to, sorry. I adore them. I feel sick at the idea of them going back. I just wish I could help the eldest more. We talk a lot, but she’s struggling to move past blaming herself. She has really low self-esteem because she’s been told she’s an idiot all her life/

  I haven’t been in this sort of situation, but all I can say is deal with one issue at a time or you’ll end up beng overwhelmed. Focus on a job/your business first. Once that’s settled, you can start trying to find somewhere else to live. Last thing you need right now is a new relationship, so just take things one step at a time. Good luck x
