  I personally think it is better this way. Your not in a rush nor should you be. Love strikes when most don’t expect it, and that is the way it should be. I am sure you will be more content in a relationship than most. Exspecially since you will not be needy and you will not be looking for someone to complete you, just to compliment you.

  Post a replyyes it is possible to like someonewithout meeting them, but that isn’t the entire them. Everyone is different online then they are in person.

  Hey man.
  I sorry to hear you so down. I hate to say this to you, but this is how life is sometimes… I have a best friend that I have known since kindergarden… thats 26 years. He joined the navy at 18 and moved to San Diego… He hasnt been back since. We talk now and again on the phone, or he comes into town once or twice a year. But that is it. You will go through friends throughout life. My best friend and I didnt talk for a period of over 2 1/2 years at one point.
  they arent gone, they have just continued living thier lives as you must do. Go out and meet other people. I am not saying these new ppl will be the great friends that you have with these two, but you still need to get out and meet others. It is good for you to explore friendships etc. It is a learning curve.
  I am in much the same situation. I use to drink everynight at the bar. Had lots of friends. But I realized I was getting really bad, and annoying. So I quit drinking, quit going to the bar, and I lost a majority of my friends that way, and the others moved away or just got distant. So I started seeing a woman… w00h00 right… well we got serious and got ingaged, but then it went bad one day, and over a couple month course, it dwindled into a pile of pieces of my heart on the ground.. I once again was all alone. And now, here I am again alone, but like tonight, I went out and tried to meet new ppl. I didnt meet anyone, but I still enjoyed myself and tomorrow is a new day. A new day for new friends.

  It could be, but most that go trhough shell shock want to be the person they were before and will do anything to get there. That is where someone has to help them figure the best way to get there.

  I was in the US military for 9 years. I will say this, I loved being in and miss it greatly. However, don’t join out of nessesity, join because that is what you want. The military lifestyle isn’t for most people. Also realize that by you joining, so is your family. The fact you have a family before joining is a difficult one. Iyoo had a family when I joined, but I also spoke with them about it. I let them know all the possibilities that would happen, but also the short falls like goi g to war, chance of dying etc. Since you have a family, decide for yourself and your family if it is for you and them. Then talk it over with them and see what they say. It’s not just up to you.
  you haveto realize that even if you like it, but they don’t, say for instance your wife or girlfriend or whatever the situation…. They don’t have to stay in that lifestyle and can leave you to get away from it where as youdont have that option. You are bound by a 8 year contract.
  
  All military contracts are 8 years. Most being a 4×4. 4 years active 4 years IRR.
