i just got to your post. sorry im a little late.
for a thirteen year old, you sound very mature. most thirteen year olds cant express their emotions as well as you, nor understand themselves the way you do.
the world is a confusing place - it takes people so many years to make sense of it all. with only 13 years so far, it makes sense that youre scared of your life and dont understand religion. most people double your age are like that too. they just hide it.
religion is just a way to relate to g-d. you can do that any way you want.
and life is the only thing we really have!
i do admit, i dont know what youve been through. we all have our stories; its part of living in this world. and the greatest thing is that we are the authors of our own stories. we choose what is going to be - you dont have to try to fit into society’s little box they made for you. you can just do things your own way. and you know what happens? society makes a new place for you! change doesnt mean losing your place in society, it means finding a new one.
change is scary, that is true. in my early teenage years i had many decisions like that to make, and they were some of the hardest decisions ive ever made - because you cant tell the future and its a scary thing to jump into the unknown. but i made them, and ive never regretted it. my life is much much better than it would have been.
and of course this is the only life youve ever known - you havent had a chance to try out any others, because you have only had 13 years on this planet! its not so much time, and not enough to fully understand what you want to be.
the only advice i can share with you is to just be yourself, and not worry so much about the way other people want you to be. and, yes, believe in yourself - theres so much there for you to believe in. someone who has the courage to stand up and ask for help and has such experiences and inner strength is someone worth believing in. i do.
one last thing - fate is in the hands of man. its destiny that we cant control. your fate is up to you alone. you CAN do it!
