Friends that do computer science, or any IT friends…

You’ve obviously acknowledged that you have a problem, which is an excellent start. It’s great that you’re able to acknowledge it now as well, I actually watched something earlier today about a guy who was in like his 40s, a sex addict in denial, it tore apart his family. You should get help asap, a strong will will go a long way but you need the extra support too.

Look you’re 16, I don’t mean to throw in a cliche but you have your whole life ahead of you. Go get help now. Do you go to school? Is there a counsellor you could see? Or if your school counsellors are crap [mine were] go see your doctor. Doctor’s don’t take these things lightly, especially when you’re that young. He/she may be able to refer you onto a youth counselling service [they are usually free].

Yeah I’m not saying you don’t. But I don’t know the details do I, if you want help you have to give out some information about the problem, can’t just ******* expect people to know, jeez.

Grr religion. But that’s another issue altogether.
Can you tell me what makes you think it’s an addiction?
I mean you’re 16, I’m not surprised if you’re thinking about sex or porn a lot, how do you define a sex addiction?

NOOOOO don’t think it’s your fault. She lied to you, and lead you on, and is still not giving you any sort of explanation, it’s her fault.

If you really really want to be friends, maybe you should give it a little breathing room and revisit the idea after you’ve stopped having romantic feelings for her.

People often aren’t as smart or aware as we think they are. They often don’t notice what we think we’re making bluntly obvious. So far it really sounds like she’s just been toying with you, even if she had feelings, she likes her boyfriend and obviously hasn’t considered how her withholding that information would affect you. And she’s stopped talking to you, so obviously still isn’t thinking about how you must be feeling. You’re better off without her. Plenty more fish in the sea etc. etc.

Um, lonelytoon, I’ve been helping people/ being helped for over a year now on this site, don’t give me that ******** as though I don’t know how this site works. I acknowledge that occasionally I need help too, but I also actually do like helping people so **** off if you don’t have anything contructive to say.

Maybe she’s just not thinking about you…

Why?

Is she reaching out to you to be her friend?
No, she’s ignoring you… what does that tell you?

You can’t dwell on it. Look, you’re thinking way too much into this. It won’t make a difference if she tells you she likes you as a friend, that’s just going to keep hope alive for you and it will hurt even worse in the long run. You HAVE to let her go.
